I have visited Ashley Manor Senior Living. The place was nice and clean. I took my grandchildren there to sing at Christmas time and the people were very open and friendly. There's a Mormon church nearby.

We moved mom to Ashley Manor Senior Living this month. The executive director really had a handle on getting Medicaid set up. The building is beautiful. The outside area is terrific. They have activities and a library. They encourage socialization, which is really important to my mom. I really haven't met the nursing staff, but I've met the executive director and the activities director. They have a camera on all the hallways to show kind of what's going on. They really seem to be on top of things.
She doesn't have any teeth, but they're still trying to work with her and find food that she can easily chew and eat. They're working on it at least. She hasn't complained about the taste or anything. They have bingo and a library, and she loves to read. They have a social area where they have movie nights. They take them out of the facility for tours at times. For assisted living, they have a lot of good activities for socialization.
Her room is very large with a huge closet. They have a little refrigerator for her and a microwave if she wants it. The bathroom and shower are in the room. Right now, they take her to a shower room because she can't walk yet. She'll be able to take her showers in her room once she gets a little bit stronger. Everything is just set up very nicely. There is lots of light in the room, and it's very well kept up.

My friend moved into Ashley Manor. She is in their assisted living section in a memory care unit. It's great. They're very nice, there are large rooms, and they all have private bathrooms. I like it because it's a larger facility. They take care of her pills, she has three meals a day, they have Bingo, they have exercises and they have all sorts of things that she can participate in and do. They have a garden they can plant in and lots of grass and a patio. It's in a residential area but the hospitals are only five minutes away. The pricing is very good. It's bland food, but it's OK. They have choices of three different things at meals, which is nice.
