I'm staying in Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek. They are very professional here and they keep you very updated on things that are going on. The staff here are very nice and very helpful. I am only here for a month. They have bingo here and I participate in that. And then they have different things like trivial games and word search games. My room is very spacious and very clean. They have three meals in a day. The food is standard, nothing extraordinary about it. We go out on a road trip once a week. They need to have more choices in the activities for us to participate in.

Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek was clean and seemed to have attentive staff. One of the nice things was the convenience of where everything was located. It didn't look like it was something that would be hard to get used to find out where you were. The dining area was very nice, and the staff seemed to be quite nice. The outside was nice. They gave me as much information as they could about the facility. They seemed very caring about their residents and seemed to know them on a first-name basis. You had your own little bit of privacy. It wasn't all cluttered up. It was just a very soothing and relaxing kind of environment. They have a salon.

My mother has moved into Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek. I like it because my mother has her own space. She is actually renting one of their small apartments as opposed to just a single room unit. They have lots of activities. They're feeding her the three meals a day, they're taking care of things like laundry and house cleaning so that she doesn't have to do that anymore, and they have activities and senior services. Tracey, the marketing director, is especially nice and easy to work with. So far, it's going well other than my mother being a typical senior and having trouble adjusting, but that's just a normal person. She would be unhappy no matter where she moved. They have bingo and they had an ice cream social. COVID has kind of influenced the activities they're able to do, but they offer a Bible study and on-site religious services. My mother says the food is good.

My mom moved into Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek last month. It was the first and only place I looked at, and I fell in love with them. Their staff is amazing. The facility is beautiful, it's clean. The staff treats their residents as their families. It's a fantastic facility. Tracee, who is the director there, she's an angel walking on this Earth. Mom loves the food. The rooms are just beautiful, it's very clean, I just can't say enough about it, it's wonderful. The layout, it's all one floor. There are several common areas that they're able to just visit. There are all kinds of activities, it's different every day, and they give them a calendar. They do an exercise class, there's a book club, there's arts and crafts and games, bingo. They do movie time at six o'clock on Friday evenings. There's a beauty salon there.

I toured both assisted living and memory care at Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek. It's a nice, friendly, and clean community. I enjoyed it. I looked at the one-bedroom apartment, which was pretty nice and it comes with a refrigerator and a microwave. The studio was nice sized and pretty comfortable as well. They had a scheduled menu Monday through Friday. If you didn't like that, they had a separate menu where you can order different stuff. It was like a restaurant setting. The dining area in the memory care was quite smaller and more personal. For the number of people, it was smaller than assisted living because they need more attention. They had a van that takes them shopping and stuff, they had a beauty salon and barbershop every Thursday, a book club, and movies. They had planned activities throughout the month. They had a chapel in there. From what I've seen, the place looked nice and smelled good. It looked pretty much new. The staff was very attentive and caring.

My dad and his wife have been in Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek. My dad really likes it. I like the staff there. I know they changed directors three times in eight years, but they've done some facelifts, which looks a lot better. My dad likes the staff. Their staff has been there for a while, so they don't have a huge turnover in staff. There have been some, but they've just gone to other facilities, and just to make more money. It's simple, it's quaint, and they like it. They don't do a whole lot of activities, they don't take them out anymore. They're very, very restricted on their COVID, but they don't have any sick patients, and they've been very fortunate not to have anybody sick in their facility with the COVID. I'd rate them pretty high because my dad and his wife love it there, and they know all the people there. The food is fine. I have eaten there a few times. When they've had families over for certain things, they do try to do activities, but they don't carry them anywhere, like they used to. My dad's wife's number one concern or complaint is that she doesn't get to go out, or have a Walmart trip, or anything like that. They won't take them anywhere or do anything outside the facility. They like to get out, but they haven't been able to do that. It's pretty open when you walk in the front. They have hot tub tables for guests, they've remodeled that. They do have a salon. They do have an activities room, and their activities room is where they would do their chapel stuff. It's just one, big, open room where they try to do everything. Whether it's watching movies, playing bingo, or playing games, or anything like that. Their library is out in the open area.

I visited Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater Creek for my mom. Everything just seemed very clean. The staff member seemed very caring. She sat down with me and was able to answer all the questions I had. Even though I did not go all through because they are not allowed to because of COVID, she was able to show me one room. Instead of me going through this facility, I went around to another door where I can get easy access to another room. So I saw a memory care room, and I saw an assisted-living room. They explained everything to me. When you first walk in you can even see how the families can meet in-person with their loved ones because they have got a place set out for visitation. I really liked it.

My aunt is in the assisted living of Legacy Ridge at Sweetwater. It has been a wonderful experience. I just spoke with the director this morning and I'm very pleased with the facility. They have kept me notified of her, and I've been able to drive down close to where her room is and see her from the window. They have been so cooperative and done everything I've asked of them. They seem to be a wonderful facility. I'm able to talk to her on the phone and she seems very happy. She has nothing but good comments, and that has made me very happy. Just this morning she told me that the food is wonderful, she loves peanut butter, and they have been checking almost on a daily basis to see if she needs peanut butter. They have been bringing her peanut butter in individual cups.

Brookdale Sweetwater Creek is fairly good, but it's just taking my dad a little bit of time to get used to it. They have a few things that come through on a monthly basis. For example, in March they had a band, and my dad enjoyed that. They also take people to the doctor if necessary. They have a dining room and a nice screened-in porch in the back. They also have activities; he's enjoying it so far. They offer three meals a day and the staff is fine. It’s a warm place when you walk in, and you get a good feeling.

Brookdale Sweetwater Creek looked OK, but it seemed like there were a lot of older people. It was clean and neat, and the staff was always nice. They had apartments, which were really cute. I liked that they have a little kitchen, but you could choose to cook in your own place or you could go to the cafeteria.

Brookdale Sweetwater Creek is very inviting, warm, and very good. I'm impressed with the way the employees interact with the residents. The residents definitely like the food and they seem to enjoy it. The place is very clean and well-kept. My aunt seems to be getting along quite well with the activities and she seems to have had some improvement.

I was very impressed with Brookdale Sweetwater Creek. It was clean and orderly. The studio apartment had enough room for my loved one, and she will be taken care of well there. I was accommodated very pleasantly, and they were very welcoming. They had games, bingo, and arts and crafts, and they took them to the stores and doctors' offices.

Brookdale Sweetwater Creek has a friendly atmosphere. It’s clean. The people are all awesome. The rooms are in good condition. We had very little complaints; once, the apartment was dirty, and I had to clean it myself for my mother. The food was terrible.

Brookdale Sweetwater Creek is much closer to where I live, and it is nice. The rooms there are smaller, and it is actually going to be a little bit more expensive than where my husband is. I really like the other facility better even though that is farther from my home. The staffs were nice and OK. I can't really say much about the food. They did tell me about the activities, but I can't remember what they were. The overall atmosphere seemed to be good. The people were nice, and it appeared to be clean. I don't know much else how I can really describe it not having much experience with the attendants that take care of the people. I do know that there is a lady from my church that is there, and she seems to be real happy with it.

I really liked Emeritus at Sweetwater. It was very well kept and decorated really nicely. They have friendly staff. The living environment was nice. We weren't ready for the price at the time we visited. If they could improve on lowering the price, that would be great.

Emeritus at Sweetwater was my favorite of all three. I came across this one through Caring.com. I was sat before and after the visit to ask if I had any questions, any concerns. They were just phenomenal. As far as information goes, you couldn't beat it. I was introduced to several people that works there. They were just wonderful and most of them had long work history. The staff was top number 1. The place was absolutely beautiful. It was probably the biggest of the three. The rooms were about the same size. They have one-room suite and two-room. They have beautiful outside area for the residents. They were very much involved in making sure the residents were involved with every kind of activities possible. They do different kinds of activities. They have people come in and do certain things with the residents. They also have a church service. They gave me a sample menu. They have three main entrees. I met the chef and he was just a wonderful person. He is a class A chef. They have a subkitchen where the residents could fix coffee if they got up early in the morning or have a glass of juice or continental type breakfast. They always have something available for them before breakfast is actually served. The community was absolutely awesome. It is situated right on Sweetwater creek. It is absolutely beautiful when you drive in. The community itself was friendly, home-warming, family-oriented, and they have everything you would want for yourself as well as your parents. You couldn't ask for more in a community. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Emeritus Sweetwater was very nice. My dad liked it. They were very thoughtfully caring for him. Right up until he went into the hospital, they did everything they could for him. They tried to make him at home. They were some things about the food that he wasn't crazy about, and they made some adjustments for him. I really liked the place. They were very personable. When I walked in, they knew who I was and they were very friendly. The place and the common area were very neat and clean. They had comfortable furniture for the residents. His room had a weekly heavy cleaning, and they did his beddings every day. It was a nice setting, and it was all on one floor. They had easy access if the residents wanted to go outside. I knew they were planning some changes for the dining. They were going to have an open dining the whole day instead of having set meal times. My dad never had the chance to see that, but he was excited about the change. For the short time that my dad was there, I didn't find any fault with it. They were very good.

I like the size, the cleanliness, and location of Emeritus Sweetwater. The food was good. It's not the absolute best, but for that type of facility I would say it was good. They had snack bar areas and had nice outdoor areas.

I visited Emeritus at Sweetwater, and they have very nice people. The rooms were absolutely beautiful. I would live there myself. You walk in, and there is no smell. The hallways were decorated beautifully. The doors were like in a hotel. It was just like being in a hotel. You wouldn’t think you were in an assisted living facility. We talked to the lady out there, who actually tried really hard to try to help get some type of financing help for my aunt. At the time of the day that we went there, all the residents were out in the formal area watching TV, and I even talked to a couple of residents. They love the facility and they are very happy there.

Emeritus at Sweetwater is a facility that is closer to where I live. It also has the same atmosphere as the other facility where my grandfather is now. It is also a lovely facility. However, there is nothing within that area on that little road that is visually appealing. It is just like an industrial road. Sweetwater location did not offer anything within the area attraction-wise to take my grandfather to. I also did not get to meet a lot of staff during my visit there. We just had someone who took us around for a tour. Even the director was not there to receive us. I didn't see as many residents at that facility, which was a concern for me. I was uncomfortable with this facility. It was a very nice facility but it was not what I wanted for my grandfather. I would suggest that they need to have more visibility of the staff who is in contact with the residents and also to meet the people who are touring the facility and not just the tour guide because maybe you would want to meet one of the help aides or the activities director, etc., just someone else other than the tour guide.

The rooms at Emeritus at Sweet Water were good. The rooms are much larger than a lot of places we looked at. They have games and crafts and things like that, but we have not been that long enough to look at the activities. I was able to eat breakfast there and the food is fine. My mother said that most of the food is good. We had a lot of issues with the transition getting in and some of the people there. I really like the location of the facility, but I don’t think I would recommend them because we had some issues with the staff. I think it would be better if they had better communication initially. They need to communicate a little bit better about how they do things.

Visited facility to see if it would be suitable for parents needing to go into assisted living. I visited several times, some scheduled and some not scheduled. The facility was clean and grounds were OK; however, on none of my visits into the facility was I ever greeted or questioned by any staff member. This concerned me as no one knew me there, yet no one questioned my presence there at various hours of the day and night. Did not get a good feel to have parents live here.

Our experience has been a great experience so far and we very thankful to have found this facility just one town over. This facility offers bingo games throughout the week as well as trivia night. The assisted are also allowed to furnish there private rooms with their personal items from home. Making the transition for the assisted a little bit more easier giving the illusion that their still in their previous homes.

I went to Sweetwater Springs to visit a friend and tour the facility. Upon arriving, I was impressed with the decor and cleanliness. The staff were welcoming and informative. My friends room was a small efficiency with a kitchen, living room, bathroom and separate bedroom. I was impressed to see that she had everything she could need in this space. Her room felt like a home. After some time visiting, my friend took me on a tour of the facility. There were many rooms and spaces including a cafeteria, a game and activites room, quiet reading spaces, outdoor living and comprehesive library and media room. When completing my visit with my friend, I determined that should I or any member of my family need assisted living services, Sweetwater Springs would be a first choice.
