About This Community

This brand new Community will be open the Summer of 2019! We’ve taken the blueprint for traditional senior living and put it right where it belongs—the trash can. It wasn’t hard. Traditional senior living communities stink. We believe that if a community’s focus is strictly on care, they don’t care enough.

We have two living options under one roof.

Assisted Living is ideal for residents who value their independence, but may need assistance with daily activities. Our community team members are raving fans of encouraging independence with assistance readily accessible at all times of day.

Memory Care is for our Elders who are living with some form of memory loss. Every member of the Thrive at Augusta team is NIDE (National Institute for Dementia Education) certified. That includes everyone from the chefs and housekeepers to the concierge and nurses. The education allows us to interact with our memory care residents as unique individuals rather than objects in need of care. Residents are engaged with the goal of helping them recapture moments of memories and the recognition of loved ones.

Thrive team members (employees) come to work each day to build long lasting friendships with our Elders. Many of our key leaders bring valuable experience to our industry from other fields. Simply put, our leaders believe that if we treat our team well, they will, in turn, love our residents well.

I went to Thrive at Augusta. It was fabulous. It was new. It was very nice. I wouldn't mind living there. They didn't have a model or an empty room. The one that I looked at had somebody living in it. It was very nice. I only got to peek at the door. The staff was very nice and very informative. The dining area was very nice. The common area was very nice. Amenities were excellent, and I saw physical therapy going on.

Thrive at Augusta was awesome. They have a professional cook and during the interview, he comes out and you get to meet him. He explains what he does and he customizes the residents' meals if they want to. They have a movie theater, spectacular activities like arts and crafts, and just all kinds of stuff. You can see where your money would go, but it's just nothing I could afford. They have a good amount of acres out there. They even got horses. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. They are very particular about who they hire. They want them to understand where the residents are. They have memory care and assisted living and they have different layouts, I think maybe three or four.

We have chosen Thrive at Augusta for my father-in-law. It was very new, modern, close to where we live, and the pricing was very reasonable. The staff members were phenomenal. The place is like a 5-star hotel. It's beautiful. Everything is included. They have a bistro, happy hour, fishing tournament, computer room, and exercise room. They offer a lot. The room is very spacious and very accommodating if he needs a wheelchair or a walker. It's all inclusive. They didn't have any hidden fees. Everything is included.

We were very pleased with Thrive at Augusta. We were able to see one of the units, and they were very beautiful; we were very happy with it. They have tall ceilings, sliding front doors, two showers, and high-end furniture. They are all very nice. The staff was very friendly, too, and answered all of my questions. They do gardening where they bring in raised gardens for the residents. There are ponds for fishing, a bocce-ball court, a twenty-four-hour bistro for food and snacks, walking trails, a library with puzzles, a gym with a physical-fitness area, and a salon where they can bring their hairdressers in. When we went there, they were having a Valentine's Day party that night. It just has a very warm and open atmosphere.

I had an actual visit at Thrive at Augusta. I just saw some of the grounds, and I didn't get to go inside. I went inside the assisted living apartment, but I didn't get to go inside the whole place. I very much enjoyed it, and I really enjoyed talking to the woman I spoke with. I also met a couple of extra people. The place was nice, and the apartment was nice. It wasn't an apartment that somebody was in; it was one that they were getting ready to set up. It was nice and roomy, and it had a nice bathroom, a nice kitchenette, a small living room area and a small bedroom area. I met two different people, and they were wonderful. They were the administrative people, i.e., the marketing and the person who runs it. As far as nursing and help staff, I have no idea. The apartment was nice and clean, but nobody was there.

We chose Thrive at Augusta for my mother-in-law. At this point, we don't have a definite move-in date because she is still in rehabilitation. As soon as she gets out of that, she'll go directly into assisted living. We got to see a little bit of it in person. It was lovely, that's why we chose it. They were very welcoming. It was very clean and brand new. It had so many things to offer. What we liked absolutely the best was that it was one single price for everything. They didn't separate levels of care, which got very pricey in other communities.

I visited the opening night of Thrive assisted living community. It was the finest I have ever visited. The rooms were delightful and bright, nicely furnished, but most of all the entire comnmunity was fantastic. There was a bistro, movie theater and library. I was never so impressed in all of my life. Everyone was gracious and helpful from the President to all of the associates. The food was great. Thanks for inviting me. I know where I will be going.

I attended the open house and was not impressed. The rooms are extremely small. Closet space is very limited. It was very crowed and the emphasize was on the media and not potential residents. The CEO's comments were inappropriate.
