We toured Brighton Gardens of Buckhead for my dad. I thought they had awesome, really nice landscaping, and they were clean and welcoming. The staff was very informative. She was welcoming as well. I noticed they had a library. They had transportation for the residents. They did have a lot of common spaces for the residents. It was an older building, and they needed to replace some of the carpet in some of the rooms we looked at.

My friend liked Brighton Gardens of Buckhead. They have many features that she is looking for. They are very welcoming. When you walk in, they have printed little posters with your name on them, welcoming you. We had an opportunity to speak with the nurse as well as the one who arranged the tour. It appears that they are very sensitive to the needs of their residents, from the meal selections to the activity selections to just the facility itself. We were very pleased with what we saw.
It's assisted living, but they just seem to have more choices in everything. They even have a dog there and he's a rescue dog. He has three legs and he makes it seem like home as he's kind of like the little community dog. He knows which ones like dogs. He's very cute and very friendly. My friend liked that.
We got to talk with the nurse, the one who gave the tour, and the lady who was my navigator when I had gone to the wrong address. They were just very hospitable, very generous with their time, and answered all your questions. I was very pleased with the staff.
The building was originally built by Marriott, so it's nice. We were pleased with that. One of the rooms my friend looked at seemed a little small, but it was a studio. When we were leaving, they gave us a bag of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, but we weren't there during mealtime.

Brighton Gardens needs a new manager and director poor communication and unprofessional manner. Even when you are at Brighton Gardens with your loved one who is asking to meet with them. They own ore you and your loved one. The front desk staff is rude and does not know how to communicate effectively. Loved one who is wheelchair bound waited hours after a doctor appointment to be picked up in soiled pants and ended up with a UTI.

I went to see Brighton Gardens of Buckhead and toured their assisted living. The layout was so wonderful and great. It would have been perfect for my mom because everybody has their individual rooms. There are so many activities and she would have been treated like a queen. Leslie was my tour guide. When we walked in, I saw the people, the caretakers and the residents, and they were happy. They were doing activities like social ones, and some physical therapy. They just felt active for me. Some people were in the dining room and they were just getting ready to eat meals and have a good time.
The surroundings and the area were peaceful, and the rooms were very spacious. The outside area had generators and security cameras. I just felt like that would have been the perfect spot for my mom. I just felt safe with her being on that property. The staff that assisted me was great. I would say that they succeeded my expectations, and they really care about their residents.
Leslie wanted for me to take my mom out there. They want to go prepare lunch for us, but now she wants to stay home. They did offer to have lunch during my visit, I just didn't try it. I saw in the pamphlet that they have the three meals and they had the list of the food for that day. It had things for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. They had a pretty big dining area too where people were spaced out well, and it was very nice. I saw that they kept it very clean when I walked in and toured the place.

I did a tour of Brighton Gardens of Buckhead. I think the security was a big issue, you have to kind of have security to let you in. So that was good. I felt like everyone was welcoming and pleasant. I went to the wrong address; they gave me a tour anyway because they understood that I mixed up the location. So, they were very accommodating and flexible on schedule.
That was good because we were able to give my mother a nursing assessment on the spot. It seems like I have a quick turnaround with providing the services that they offer and things like that. The other thing is, they are very activity-oriented. They seem to want to tailor something towards my mother, which her interests are, which I thought was good.
They have an overall management person. I thought that was good because that person oversees all the other medical treatments that my mother would need for medication management. So instead of having a decentralized process, everything goes into one person. That person communicates with everyone as well.
The property itself is very spacious. There's a lot of different areas to hang out in and everything. The room there are pretty decent. It's going to be a little pricey because of what it is, but I felt that they gave a good variety of what they could offer. All the rooms have windows.
Everybody was very knowledgeable, professional, and very understanding. They were very quick and has very high customer service.
The person who gave me the tour, Lesli, was very communicative. She followed up with me numerous times even after the tour. She went above and beyond trying to make sure that we knew what we were getting into.

We toured Brighton Gardens of Buckhead, and I thought that they were very well prepared for the visit. They greeted us when we got there, and there was a sign up with my name on it. They knew I was coming to look at this facility for my dad. It's not like the other places didn't know, but they kind of went the extra mile.
I met the executive director and the lead. She's the one who gave us the tour, and she gave us comprehensive information. Her name was Leslie, and she was very thorough.
For the rooms within each category, I guess you would consider them spacious. They have excellent views and were well appointed. The layout was easy to navigate, and I thought they made an efficient use of space.
They also have a comprehensive list of activities, including specific activities for men, women, and co-ed. They also have a very well-stocked library.

Brighton Gardens of Buckhead was a very nice community, the staff was very accommodating and the place was very clean. They had the rehab portion, long term and short term care. It was a very nice community with nice staff. And their facilities are well-kept and maintained.

My mom stayed at Brighton Gardens while recovering from a medical condition where she needed physical therapy, good food and a caring staff. She got all three at Brighton Gardens and her recovery during her six months there was exceptional. We cannot say thank you enough to the kindness and caring of the entire staff. We would highly recommend this to anyone in need of their services.

Residents need to live nearby to stay on top of the health issues of their loved ones. Communication is aweful. You get shuffled to voice mails over and over.

I am in Brighton Gardens of Buckhead. It is very nice. There are very few amenities -- just card games and take you for a ride on the bus. It is very well-managed, the people are nice, the staff is nice, and I have no complaints.

We liked Brighton Gardens quite a lot. We ended up not choosing them only because we decided that a location closer to where we are would be the best. We liked it better than most of the other places we saw, and it was one of our favorites. We just liked how the entire place was laid out. We talked to them about what they did, and that seemed to be pretty good too.

We used Brighton Gardens of Buckhead in the past, and they are pretty awesome. It's a beautiful facility, and while we were there, they were revamping it. They provide excellent care and excellent family involvement. They had an excellent memory care facility, on-site physical therapy, visitations by your doctors and nurse practitioners, and they have the optometrist come in. They take patients to doctors' appointments, to eat, and to shopping. They have a lot of things that are for seniors.

Brighton Gardens of Buckhead was a hotel that had been renovated to an assisted living facility. The rooms were extremely small in my price range, but there may have been others. It was very old and a little dark, but the people were super nice. I saw the residents just after they had breakfast, so the staff and the residents were playing a video game on the TV, like an Xbox or a Wii. The people seemed to enjoy it and were a very diverse group of residents. They need to remodel the place, and it needs to be a little brighter.

Smoke and mirrors. The front desk has an attitude. The nurses don't communicate with family unless the resident has fallen. They promise trips and excursions but only allow 2 wheelchair bound residents per trip so forget it. Also free trips for doctor visits on Mondays....if the nurses remember to schedule it which they won't. They are as worthless as tits on a boar hog. There is an exorbitant charge for everything. The only good things are the food and convenient location.

We looked at three facilities and Brighton Gardens is the one I really like for my aunt. It is clean. I like the program that they have. At that time, I had to take my aunt out of the hospital that day and find some place for her and Brighton Gardens just told me, "don't worry about the check, bring her and get her set up." Everybody else wanted me to have a check right up front, so I really appreciated that. The staff is wonderful. They're excellent in every way. I mean the care that they give her, the kindness that they show her, and the attention that they pay to her. The room that I chose for my aunt is a spacious studio. They clean the room once a week. The room is very nice. I love their dining room. It looks like an elegant restaurant. I have eaten with my aunt several times. The food is very good. I like it. The place is a beautiful. It is kept very, very clean. There is no absolutely no smell of urine at any place. They have activities. They have one or two outings each week for them. They have taken them out to a restaurant for lunch. They do things with them to exercise their mind and their brain. They get their nails done, they have a beautician that comes in and my aunt gets manicures and everything now. I absolutely recommend this facility to others.

We chose Brighton Gardens for my father because of the particulars of my father's health and their experience. The staff is fine. The rooms are too small. They have activities like mind games and trips. They keep them busy. However, they can improve on their communication.

Brighton Gardens memory care neighborhood was a horrible place for my mother. All that promised was not provided most of the time. We would come to visit my mom, and no one knew where she was, yet at the same time, usually there would be some other resident in her room. I've watched residents be physically grabbed by one resident; I've been physically grabbed by that resident; residents take others' food, drink, and silverware while staff seemed not to notice; and residents scream and curse at lunch and dinner. My mom was so unhappy and anxious in that environment. Some of the staff are wonderful, but others are not. There are simply not enough staff. Seems like corporate decisions and profit are much more important than quality of life for the residents and concern for their well being. My husband and I also were lied to more than once. When we asked to see my mom's records, which the contract allows, they refused. The placement was not at all what we were lead to believe, and I am so sorry we ever took my mother there. She is so happy and doing so much better now that she is not in BG's memory care neighborhood. It was also very expensive, and we were paying for services and support my mom simply did not receive. I would not have given even one star but had to just to post.

Brighton Gardens of Buckhead was an extremely nice place and I was very impressed. It was also conveniently located near some malls. The staff seemed very engaged and there were more staff than the other places I have been to. They seemed to have a very good range of activities for the residents. The rooms were spacious enough, bright and light. I would recommend this place to other people.

This facility has ridiculous turnover, much higher than the norm for assisted living. The staff changes constantly As a result the understanding of residents and quality of care is poor. When visiting a relative, we always hear arguing among the med tech staff. Found that our loved one was not receiving his meds consistently. The facility itself (building, décor, etc.) is very clean, in good condition and tastefully decorated. Just don't look beyond the aesthetics.

When my grandparents first begin living at Brighton Gardens, they were in a regular suite on the second floor of the building. The workers there were always friendly to the residents and visitors who were at Brighton Gardens. After a year, my grandfather passed away and my grandmother sank deeper into a depression which resulted in an early onset of Alzheimers. The workers at Brighton Gardens expressed their concern with my grandmother living on the regular unit and suggested she be moved to an Alzheimers unit instead. Although we were hesitant, we knew this was best for her. After about 4 more years of being a resident at the assisted living home, she passed away. Even at her funeral, a caregiver from Brighton Gardens made sure to come. I was always pleased with the service provided at Brighton Gardens.

When looking for a center to live in me and my daughter came here although we did not choose this center because of the distance. I must say the center was clean perhaps spotless and great staff. I joined with some of the seniors playing bingo and ate some of the well prepared food. At the end of the visit we tour the different rooms and they all were clean and spacious with tv and cable.

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The home itself is very pretty and they do a good job with keeping it clean. The nurses were so nice to us and they are great at knowing when to step in and when to give the family alone time. We were in the hospice area and I have to say that they really take care of the patient and make sure they are not in pain. It made us feel good to be in a place that made such a bad situation feel a little better.
