My father is in Silverleaf. It has very good staff. They are very professional and helpful. They seem to be very caring, also. The location is good, and it is convenient to my father's doctor. He is in a private room with good furnishings, and it has its own bathroom. I just brought in a television for him and other furniture that we wanted. My father says the food is much better that in the place he was at before. The dining area is nice. It looks like college cafeteria type. He is very happy there.

Silverleaf is more one-on-one care. I was pleased with the staff and the facility. I think the rooms are great. The food was excellent and the place is extremely clean. The administrator is wonderful. She's very personable and she knows all of her clients by name. She is constantly interacting with the residents and so as her staff.

It was a very nice experience to visit Silverleaf and its residents. Everyone was happy to see us, and hear us sing our Christmas carols. We performed in a social area that most likely was the common gathering place for facility events, banquets and the like. The facility was located in a pretty wooded area of Athens that provided a private, and relaxing view of nature. There were outdoor seating areas and some walking trails, as well, but were not being utilized at the time, due to the colder time of year on my visit. The interior was clean and comfortable. I did not see into any of the rooms. The staff were all extremely friendly, and consisted of full time employees as well as volunteers. We got to have a meal after the performance, and it was served buffet style. There was turkey, gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes (holiday fare), the food was prepared by the regular kitchen staff and was very good. I think that it is a very good facility, and would be an excellent place to live for someone who requires assisted living.

I had a fellow friend who resided here and she seemed so happy before moving here she had a sudden death in the family which had her very sad and depressed but with the help of the great team of silver leaf she soon recovered and returned to her happy self. At first they would practically have to force her to leave the room or even take visitors but after hard work and patience i had my fun and happy friend back and she is no longer a resident there but to this day she still talks about silver leaf.

My grandmother lived in Silverleaf for about a year. While there she was very happy and comfortable. The facilities were welcoming and homey with a loving atmosphere. A few times a month, volunteers came in to play music, games, and socialize with the residents. My grandmother absolutely loved that. Although these people were strangers, the facility made sure that the residents felt and were safe. The staff was both concern and personable. Every question was answered in an easy-to-understand yet non-demeaning manner. I'm very glad that my family chose this facility and would be pleased to recommend Silverleaf to others.
