My 90 years old mom was moved into Atria North Point assistant living in early May of 2022. Early July she was sent to Emergency Room due to the foodborne from Atria assistant living dinning occurred during the end of June. Unfortunately, she could not recover from that foodborne and has moved to the nursing home facility. I have requested a refund for prepared level of care. The executive director agreed to process it in August and no action was not taken until late October. After several communications, they processed request and received refund check. However, Atria’s Corp check was bounced in Mid-November and the replacement check has not received by the end of year 2022.

When we realized it was time to move my dad to a place where he'd get better care, it was extremely stressful. After touring seven facilities, I walked into Atria North Point expecting another disappointment. What I found, instead, was a beautiful facility, kind and patient staff, and residents who seemed to exude joy. After touring the independent, assisted, and memory care areas, we knew this was the place for dad. Emily, the sales director, was SO incredible; she helped us navigate the process step by step, and it was clear she genuinely cares for the residents around her. Dad's been there for a few weeks now and is really enjoying the change. Seeing him happy and engaging in something other than watching TV all day (he went to an art class and painted a picture!) wasn't something I'd ever see again. Thank you, Atria NP!

Making the decision of moving Grandpa to a retirement community was not easy. Grandpa now lives at Atria, the assisted living part. It is 10 min from our house so we can visit anytime. He is happy there, he has found several new friends. It is a safe and peaceful community.
If he does not go to the dinning area, they will bring his food to the room.
The lobby and dinning rooms are clean.
Nurse Shirley is amazing, she has done a great job with grandpa and set him up to get physical and occupational therapy weekly. There have been some changes in the director recently and the person who handles the accounting but it is expected in the current situation. We look at many places and we are very pleased with Atria.

Atria North Point was very nice, it seemed to have a sunny atmosphere, and friendly staff. It was very impressive, immaculate and the amenities were top-notch. They provide meals, medication assistance, and they have a library, a TV room, and a dining room. For activities, they do trivia, movie nights, outings, and shopping.

The person who took me on a tour of Atria North Point kept commenting on dirty and out-of-place things, which is a bit disconcerting for me. While the rooms seemed to be a good size, and the community is pretty and has the whole spectrum from independent living up to memory care so you can age in place, the tour itself just felt uncomfortable and disconcerting with her pointing out things that weren't right. It's very large and spread out, but I wasn't really clear on the daily life, the different activities, and the overall culture there. The staff who did the tour was very nice, but it just didn't give me a full and positive perception of the community, so it didn't instill any confidence in me. It just wasn't a very good tour, I think.
The design and layout of the rooms were nice. I think there are two or three styles, and they are amenable to different types of furniture. The lobby area was kept very well -- pristine even -- but then when you got to the rooms, it started to feel older -- especially the elevator, which needed to be renovated. It's not unsanitary, but it's just not as pristine as the lobby.
I would suggest being specific about the amenities and talking positively about the place during the tour. Don't point out all the things that you don't want people to see -- you don't want to highlight those -- and then talk about how it negatively impacts your job. Focus on the residents, their family, and who's coming into your community, and take the attention off yourself so that people could focus on their loved ones. Another thing is, the cleanliness of the lobby should be the level of cleanliness throughout the entire place and not just because the lobby is the first impression.

Atria North Point is beautiful, very clean, and has lovely amenities, but I didn't think that their staffing was up to par. It's prettier to look at and the rooms seemed nicer and newer than the others, but I'm more concerned about the care my mother is going to get. The person during the tour was good. I saw the dining area and it was OK. Once I heard about the ratio of caregivers to residents, I didn't pay attention to anything else.

Atria North Point was acceptable for me and my wife. The rooms were nice, and all in all the facility was very nice. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was one of the facilities that I put on my shortlist. The only drawback was it is in an urban area.

Atria North Point was nice and very pretty. The rooms and people seemed nice, it's just that it's too big and has too many residents for my father. The visit was well, and I liked it. The staff was very nice, friendly, and informative, and it seemed like a really nice place.

At Atria North Point, the food was better, and they did have a better social group, but that’s probably not necessary. The level of activity was not appropriate for my father. It wasn’t anything that he could get very much out of. My father was in their memory care unit, but he had several falls. He did not partake of the activities they had. They had great activities. The facility was clean enough.

Atria North Point was a very nice place. It cost a little more than we wanted to spend, but the woman who showed us around was very nice. I loved the programs, and I liked the feel of the place, but the rooms didn't have modern kitchens. They said they had had a meeting that morning about upgrading, so I guess they realized that this was something that they probably would have to do, especially since they're more expensive than some of these other places. They had one meal a day, and we ate there. It wasn't that the food wasn't good; it was just that it was a little rich. There was nothing on the menu except fried things. Those were the few negative things, but there were a lot of very positive things that I thought looked good.

We decided to keep my husband at Atria. It is close and very nice. The staff and the food are both very good actually. They do a good job. I am very pleased with them.

Atria North Point is a very clean facility. It is by far the best appearing dementia unit. The other thing we like is they actually have some doctors come in on site to treat patients so they do not have to leave the facility. The security is fine. It is a gated community. My mother has commented favorably on the food.

The staff was nice at Atria North Point, but the facility seemed dated and old. They have a lot of activities, but they need to update their apartments.

My parents are in Atria North Point. It's a very nice high-end facility. We chose it basically because of the ability to transition from independent living to assisted living over time as needed. They're a very good community, and they do a very nice job. They have a lot of capability and a lot of very responsive staff.

Atria North Point was great and fantastic. It was a little more upscale. They even serve a glass of wine for dinner. Their amenities were very nice. It has a big condominium feel. It was a clean place. The staff was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend this facility to anybody. The apartments were nice and spacious.

I went to visit this facility. It was very clean and some residents were involved with activities. I did notice that the staff was not very responsive to one lady who needed help getting to the bathroom. The lady eventually asked me if I would assist her. I did, then went to the nurses station to let them know and was told that they were short staffed and had been for a while. Over all the staff was nice and the facility was clean.
