We went to a place called Daybreak Village Senior Living, and we actually thought about putting mom there. It is a small family owned place. It was nice. It was older and a bit rundown, but it was clean. They had a lot more mobile people, and they were exciting to me because it was the first one I saw with a lot of mobile people. They had activities, but there was no outside walking. There was no exercise, and their security was a little lax for me. We actually put a community deposit down, which we won't get back, but then we started seeing other places with more activity. We want mom to have the happiest longest life that she can have. The food was very good. We ate lunch, and I had shrimp and grits. It was good. They were all nice and wonderful. They all cared for their residents. They all knew them by name and knew their families. It was really a homey, nice place.

The facility is tucked away off the road and pretty. A real jewel. I liked that it seemed more homey. It is not a large community, I think licensed for 65. Many of the staff have been there a very long time. 17+ years. And they seem happy. They really love the residents. I had a mom on the Alf side and a dad on the memory side so I got to see how the staff interacted on both sides. They are wonderful and really care. Lots of individual attention. The food is great. Chef Travis pays special attention and will fix something special for them if they prefer something different than what is on the menu. There is a 24 hour menu available. Cooked to order breakfast, my dads favorite! We loved the activity director… she sent pictures almost every day of activities they were both involved in. They have a nice passenger bus with a wheelchair lift and even the memory care residents get to go for site seeing rides. Lots of in person musical performances and three activity centers, one in each area of the building. They have a hair salon on site that does a great job. Same family ownership and management for more than 15 years. We were impressed with the management and COVID policy that kept this community safe. After nearly 10 years there, Both my sweet parents passed away with hospice. I would highly recommend DayBreak. We were there 10 years, since November 2011, in and out of the building constantly. We loved it and we miss them. ❤️ I am excited to be returning to volunteer there, this coming fall. I hope this helps those of you who are looking.

My family member lived at Daybreak Village for quite a while. We saw a lot of turnover in RN's and other staff during her stay. The staff and owners weren't very responsive to legimate issues. Some issues were never addressed. This became such a health concern for our family member that we had to move him to another facility.. Medication management wasn't consistent and the food that was served was sub-par..

Day Break Village sits back from the road, and it looks very good. It is not brand new, but it is nice looking. The people are very nice there. The person who assisted me did a wonderful job. The room looks very nice. They have games and bingo. The dining area looks small; it's not the prettiest.

My wife is in Day Break Village at Kennesaw. It's OK and overpriced but close to my step-daughter's house. I don't think the food is good because my wife doesn't even eat it. What they describe to you is much different from what they do. Their staff is OK.

My grandmother is in Day Break Village at Kennesaw for almost a month now. It's a very good, well-run, and caring community that takes great care of your loved ones. We chose it because it was privately owned and they go above and beyond for all of their patients and they're well taken care of. The grounds are very personalized and homey, well decorated and well kept and the rooms are nicely accommodated and they feel like they're in their own homes. The staff is fabulous. It's topnotch care and everyone is very friendly, warm and kind. The food is good and well balanced, and they have lots of options.

The staff was very warm and welcoming at Day Break Village. The place was clean. They seemed to be attentive with the residents. I saw the rooms, and they were too small.

We did move my mother-in-law into Day Break Village; that was recommended to us by another agency. She is feeling nice, and it is a family owned, which is a plus. They have a memory care side and a regular side. They have a lot of cost in things, but it includes a free linen service -- fresh towels and linens for the bed. Every day when you go in, she is very clean. The food is excellent. There’s a chef, and he makes home-style food, it doesn’t taste institutional, and if they didn’t want to go to the dining room, they have 24hr room service. My mother-in-law has been very content, and when you get older you like to be pampered. She feels very loved and taken care of. She has been participating in things. She took a little bus to the store, she plays bingo, and she is sight-impaired but they do always have someone to help her. Once a week they have someone come from the church for church services. It’s very clean; it seems like everything that you would think that you want to have so your loved one is taken care of, and all the staff seemed very happy with one another.

Day Break Village was excellent, and it smelled good. The staff was excellent, and the rooms were really nice and well-equipped. I was really pleased with it. They have activities like card games and bingo. What I really liked about the place was it was clean, they were hospitable, there are plenty of rooms, and they seem to have plenty of help.

I just felt that there wasn’t a lot of room like in the hallways or in the dining room for someone with a wheelchair at Daybreak Village Assisted Living. The space was kind of tight. I also didn’t like the fact that they didn’t have call buttons, but the facility is very well kept, and the staff was very nice.

By far the best facility in this area, trust me, we have moved my mother to EVERY other provider in the past few years and I have been disappointed at each one of them until I found daybreak. Very family oriented, the staff is amazing and will not only keep you updated but treat you like family. 6 stars if I could!

Even though i was looking for a home for my father, the staff here made me feel very welcomed by offering me a sample of they're chef prepared meal and letting me join some of the fun activities. The center was very clean and organized. The staff had no problem showing us around. I noticed most of the seniors taking part in an art class and watching television.
