Water Edge of Lake Wales is big. It's considerably more expensive but it seems to have every amenity that you could want. My mom has her own apartment as opposed to a smaller room, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. You just couldn't ask for a better place.

I have a friend who is staying at Water Edge of Lake Wales. It's a great community. They are interested in their residents, and they take good pride in taking care of them. They did some renovations a year ago, so I'm not sure what's there now and what's not. They had even renovated the inside since I had been there, so it was new to me when I entered. They had weekly gatherings, a game room, and I remember playing darts in there. We had a good time, and the residents were happy. They have a choir, and they also have musicians who come in and give them little concerts and stuff. They had tours and trips they took with their own bus, but if there are too many people or too many outsiders going along with them, they hire a bigger bus. They have many, many activities. The staff was friendly. The food was plentiful, and they have plenty of snacks in between, too, so that was great.
