HarborChase of Wildwood is a very attractive facility. The staff said it was like four years old, it had very nice accommodations, waiting rooms, and common areas, and the dining room was very nice. It's very attractive-looking when you go in, but it doesn't give you the feeling of assisted living. The dining room was very clean. We got to see one room, the 1-bedroom was small when you're comparing it to coming from a whole house. But it's sufficient for the basics you need. They had a beauty shop, an onsite rehab center, a game room, and a movie room. They had pretty much the same amenities as all the assisted living that I've visited. The person who gave me the tour was very good, she explained everything and answered all the questions.

We toured HarborChase of Wildwood. I liked the atmosphere, the welcoming environment, the amenities, and the facilities. They were very nice. The amenities they have for them are activities for the residents, the ability for them to choose their meals, and the proper care they were going to receive on a daily and weekly basis. The person who gave me the tour was excellent. She was very personable, very kind, and she had a lot of information for us. The room itself is a little small for my parents' needs. Because they have a lot of stuff, I think their room should be a little bigger and more spacious. But they're very nice. The dining facilities were very spacious and very nice, but the rooms were a bit too small for what they need. At the time, I don't think there were any activities. There were a couple of people that were kind of visiting and socializing at tables, but that was about it.

I'm staying at HarborChase of Wildwood. It's very accommodating. We have an excellent therapy staff, which is one of the major reasons that I decided to stay, and the administration is very good. The people, we call them care partners, are all very good, the whole group of caregivers and also, the administrative people, they're very nice to work with and very accommodating. I would say that this would be a very good place for people to live, except there's one thing that is on the high end, rent. That's why I moved to a different room which is a little bit cheaper. They've got a lot of entertainment here, people coming in to sing, or whatever they do for entertainment. So they're good at that. They had bingo, they had a bunch of puzzles. They have a smart TV in one of the common rooms and get Netflix. A friend of mine and I, usually in the later afternoon, pick something on Netflix and watch it, and that's very good entertainment since most of us don't get Netflix. I have a bedroom, a sort of kitchenette, and a full refrigerator. There is a library with a computer or a laptop, and anybody can use it, but a lot of us have our own. I've got a computer of my own. They have once a week shopping at Wal-Mart Superstore, Publix, Walgreens, and that's on a Friday, so we pick out Walgreens for tomorrow. But sometimes they'll change, they'll change it if the people who go would rather go to Publix. The driver is very flexible.

A pushy sales lady who tried to talk my son into putting my husband and me into a new program where caretaker and spouse live with others in the same situation. The building with its marble floors and lots of glass-in areas struck me as cold. Not my thing. Worse, the saleslady called me twice and bad-mouthed the two other choices on my list.

HarborChase of Wildwood is only assisted and memory care but not for independent at all. It was an excellent place if you needed good care, but we're not at that point yet. The place was very nice, but the apartments were very small. You wouldn't even be able to fit in a couch in the living room. It was very small for us. The place itself have lots of areas where you could go and do activities and big rooms to get together with people, but I guess they thought the main thing people would want would be a small unit and big spaces for meeting up with people. Well, the staff members were very nice.

HarborChase was very nice, but very expensive. I had a very good visit, everybody there was very nice, I liked the room size, and the facility was like a country club. It was the most expensive place I looked at. They offer buses for going out to activities and stuff. It was the nicest place I looked at.

HarborChase is excellent, it’s very nice, neat, and organized. The staff was very nice and helpful. They’ve got a lot going on. The room was very nice, it’s fine, and I think they have a salon, library, and activity room. The parking was convenient, landscaping was nice, and it felt homey.

HarborChase of Wildwood was beautiful. It's a five-star place and it's very expensive. The rooms were very nice. The residents seemed happy. The dining area was very pretty. It looked like restaurant dining. They had tablecloths and it was very nice. They had assisted living and memory care. It's a new building. They have a salon, a spa, exercise rooms for therapy and regular exercising, an activity room, and a room where a church comes and holds services. There were several amenities there and they had lots of nice outdoor patio areas. They're not centered on a main road, which is really nice.
