About This Community

The Landing of Lake Worth has everything you would expect from a senior care community and more. Yes, we have assisted living, but it's a bit more personalized and flexible. And yes, we have memory care, but it's a bit more comprehensive and thoughtful. But to really see who we are, it's best to take a tour and get to know us. That way you'll see how amazing a community can feel when care truly comes from the heart. Which, come to think of it, may explain why a whole lotta heart is our most popular service.

Assisted Living

Whether you need a little assistance or a lot, we're here to help. We will help with bathing, medication management, nutrition, coordinating care with your doctor, and more. In addition, you'll always have 24-hour access to a well-trained and friendly staff. And colossal amounts of warmth and compassion are, of course, included.

Memory Care

When your loved one is challenged with Alzheimer's disease or dementia it's easy to feel overwhelmed. Most families simply want to enjoy more meaningful time with their loved one. But that becomes difficult day-to-day. What we've found is that when we help take away some of the daily stress, it gets easier and everyone does better. Ask us how we can help.

I met and had a tour with Wrendy. What a lovely warm and friendly place. I'm moving my 100 year old Mom from NY to The Landing. Thank you so much Wrendy for your kindness and patience. I couldn't have done this without your help.

My mom was the first resident at the Landing and so we have seen the staff (and resident population) grow over the last year-plus. I have the highest regard for the landing and its staff! The facility is beautiful and extremely well-maintained. When there is a problem, they are on top of it immediately. They decorate for every holiday and serve special meals for each of them. They make the facility fun for the residents. I love the amount and diversity of the activities offered. I am there 5 or 6 times a week to visit my mom and I always see people playing board games, enjoying happy hour in the bistro, singing along with an entertainer, attending an exercise class, or watching a movie in the theater. Once a week, anyone who is interested goes out on a luncheon. Every week it is a different restaurant and then the group goes on a ride along the ocean or to some location to walk around or shop. They also do weekly runs to the grocery store. Residents can be as involved and active as they want – there isn’t pressure, but there is always a lot of opportunities. My mom has dementia and is regularly confused and sometimes overwhelmed and even depressed. The staff is fabulous with her. They are patient, caring, and very helpful. They also keep me informed. I love that! Interestingly, it seems that most of the other residents are also very conscientious. Whether they take their cue from the staff or it is because they are mostly females, they seem to watch out for and help one another. The Landing truly is a family. I suppose the area that registers the most complaints in any institutional setting is the dining hall. It cannot be easy! Everyone has their own tastes, preferences, and dietary needs and most of the residents are old enough to be set in their ways. I have eaten breakfast, lunch, or dinner at the Landing well over a dozen times and what I can tell you is that the food is nutritious and I have never had a bad meal there. Also, there have been times when my mom hasn’t gone down for a meal and the staff notices. Someone stops by her room to see if she is OK, to encourage her to eat something, and they seem happy to deliver a meal to her room if she doesn’t feel like eating in the dining room. I believe that most of the residents are genuinely happy. I smile when I stop by to visit with my mom and see four or five people outside in a sitting area and another half dozen in one of the lounge areas, chatting, reading the newspaper, and just enjoying one another’s company. In large part, I think the residents are happy because the staff is happy and I think the staff is happy because the manager loves what he does. He is energetic, tells it like it is, and seems open to suggestions. I believe that his excitement and concern for the residents trickles down to the staff and the residents feel it and respond accordingly. I love the Landing, as does my entire family! The Landing of Lake Worth was an extremely nice place. The individual that I've met was extremely helpful and very accommodating. I looked at their assisted living side and their memory care side. I didn't have anything negative to say about it. The facility was brand new, so everything looked immaculate. They just recently opened.
