We thought Westminster Manor-Bradenton was the nicest apartment for my mother-in-law so we moved her there. It was newly refurbished with soft, uplifting colors. It has big spaces and spacious windows that look out at the palm trees. We like the quality of the staff, the appearance of the room, and the ability to get furniture into the room to make her feel at home. The staff has been very kind and very helpful to her too. We're very pleased with the interaction between them and my mother-in-law. The food is very good in assisted living where she's at. Yesterday, she went to a church service and she hasn't done that in months. Her room is very nice, it's redone with a fresh floor and walls. It has a nice small kitchen area and a very nice brand-new bathroom that's refurbished.

Westminster Manor of Bradenton looked like a very nice community. It seemed to be very clean, very organized, and staffed correctly. The staff seems very knowledgeable and kind. They weren't able to show me a lot of the amenities due to the COVID thing. I wasn't really allowed to go further beyond the opening, but I saw a little bit of the outside area and it looked OK, and the building looked well-maintained.

Mom lived in the Manor for 25 days. She lived in assisted living where I was assured she'd have help with her ADLs. I stayed with her the first week so I saw first hand what happened. Once she was moved in, no one met with her to give her an orientation or even to show her where to go for meals. When I asked for one, I was told by the Nurse Director she was too busy and someone else would come. No one did. We didn't eat there the first two days because we didn't know where or when to go to meals. No caregiver came to her room to help her dress. In the 25 days she was there she wasn't helped to bath once. In 25 days she went to one activity because they didn't have an activity director, so there were few activities and no one came to tell mom about them. She sat in her room alone. After I left, she called me on the phone constantly worrying she'd miss meals because no one could be bothered to help her learn the new schedule of when they were. After she'd been there 20 days the Nurse Director told me she wasn't adjusting to the new environment and told me I had to move her out immediately and provide a private caregiver until I did. Mom did not 'adjust' because 1) they didn't give her time to adjust and 2) no one made any effort to help her. For whatever reason, the Nurse Director didn't want a resident that actually needed more than 10-20 minutes help a day (she told me no one in assisted living needed more than that. If you need more, you need to be in memory care). The Manor is absolutely lovely and the food is so good I wish I could eat it everyday. But if your loved one needs assisted living, this place doesn't provide it.

Westminster Manor had villas that are not gated. I would recommend them to anybody. My friends live in one, which they purchased and renovated to fit their needs. They have a high rise and a health care center. They care for the residents until they pass away. I've been to their dining room and the service was very good. We looked at a place in their high rise. The reason we didn't choose it was because we didn't want a high rise. We wanted a ground level where we could just walk in and out our door and look out the window and see people walk past, which you can't do in the high rise. The facility is clean, and they clean their houses for them. The dining room and the other areas near the dining room are always very clean.

Westminster Manor had very good food, excellent staff, and a very pleasant great room. They have several dining rooms, which were very nice, and a garden. The people were very friendly. I’m going to move there.

I’ve been at Westminster Manor and I would pick to go there again. The physical therapy is great. The help is good; they answer the call button much faster. It’s upbeat; it’s nice and very clean. The menus and the food were great; they change it around. For the food and care, I’d pick Westminster Manor first.

We liked the Westminster Manor very much, but it was rather expensive. The apartment that we saw had a bathroom and three very small rooms. The dining area was very nice.

The staff was very cooperative at Westminster Manor. It's very, very clean. I enjoyed my visit with them very much. I know that the food there is very good, too. This appears to be a very caring place. They have a bus that will take people shopping if they wish. They have games, and also there's a church that's right there on campus. One thing that I'm concerned about, though, is cost. They were probably the most expensive of the three, but sometimes you get what you pay for.

We toured the facility and met with Curt about costs, transitions, medical services.Everyone there was friendly, kind and helpful. The location on the water is gorgeous with plenty of areas to sit/walk to appreciate it. Clean and nicely decorated. They offer lots of activities frequent trips to Bealls/Pubix, and the menus were varied.

Westminster is a very nice and clean place. They serve three meals a day. I have a very nice one-bedroom apartment and there's plenty of room. The people are nice. They have some very nice social activities and each day we're doing something different. For example, we're having hotdogs and hamburgers one day, then game day the next, a fashion show, or a bunch of guys who are 100 years old would tell us stories.

When I visited Westminster Manor, the place was very clean. The people were very nice. They were re-doing the dining at the time when I was there. When they showed me the rooms, they were very small. It has no kitchen just a bathroom that you could get into. I used a walker all the time, so I don't think the rooms would be large enough for me and my walker.

Westminster Manor is one of many luxurious nursing communities located in Florida. This community is the first of their now 19 communities serving over 5,000 residents. At these properties, they offer three levels of distinct living options. The first is Residential Living which is for those who can live comfortably and safely on their own the same as they would in their own home. Next is Residential Assisted Living which is for people who need occasional help with some of the tasks of day-to-day living, but for the most part get along well on their own every day. These special services can be provided to people on campus in their residential homes or in specially designed supportive services apartments. The third option is called Health Center which provides on-campus Person-Centered Care 24/7 for either respite or long-term stays. The Westminster Manor features great amenities including an Olympic sized pool, Auditorium/Chapel, Clubhouse (with pool for water exercises), Shuffle board/Baci Ball and transportation to downtown. The meal plans feature an array of nutritious options, and is available for 0-3 meals per day. All is all, the Westminster Manor has a high versatility when it comes to housing your loved ones, from studios to two bedrooms, Villas, apartments & within the Manor House. The amenities are top notch & the atmosphere is one that your loved one will be sure to thrive in!
