Surrey Place Care Center seemed very crowded. Some of the people who live there didn’t really seem like they’re as happy as they should be. The cleanliness is pretty good. The staff seemed pretty good and friendly, but they can only do so much because they don’t seem to have enough staff. They also have activities for the residents, although not as many as the place we’ve chosen. During my visit I saw the rooms, and they also had physical therapy.

I think The Surrey Place was a great place for elderly people to spend their time. My mother-in-law worked there a few years and I also had a friend who resided there a few months. The staff was excellent. Super friendly but they were southern and I think that southerners have a great deal of manners. The facility was always clean and cheerful. They had activities for the residents and a nice outside area to get fresh air. That being the case, I was impressed with the nursing home idea, as with before, I quite honestly thought they were a cruel place for a loved one to live. The other place was Suwannee Healthcare, with which I was impressed with the cleanliness, friendliness, and amount of activities for the residents. All in all, the residents there were happy and enjoyed seeing new and other faces of their friends family. It was a genuine, warm feeling of love there. If I need to live in an assisted living facility,I would choose either The Surrey Place or Suwannee Healthcare because of the hospitality and beautiful outside scenery. It was an amazing place, though I don't know what the cost. I reccomend eihter of the two.
