The Carriage House was very good, clean, and well-maintained. The people were very outgoing and helpful. The dining area, rooms, and layout were good, and it's a fairly new facility.

Carriage House of Sumter seemed to be pretty clean, and the staff looked pretty good, but I did not like the living conditions for my husband's personal space since he's a big man. There was hardly any space outside at Carriage House for my husband to be able to get out, so he would be stuck in one space. There was a limitation of personal space there.

The Carriage House is the one that we like the best. The staff was nice. We went to the grand opening when they opened. Of course, the facility is new. It smelled new too. The location would be convenient, and that was nice. I was very impressed with their screened-in swimming pool. They had a theater with a dozen theater seats; it looked nice. The people were friendly. They had an activity calendar. They also have a vehicle to take people places. They take them to hospitals and to Wal-Mart.

The Carriage House was a very nice facility. It was very well maintained. The staff was very good. However, the apartments were small. The food was good but they had a rigid schedule for meals, which we didn't like. Dining wasn't restaurant style where you can go in from say, 5 to 7, and eat anytime during that period. It had a lot of going for it except for the apartment size and the fact that we just didn't like the rigid schedule with the meals.
