My mother-in-law has moved into Savannah Court of St. Cloud. So far, it's been great. The staff is awesome. They are attentive to the people. They listen to you when you talk to them. They have activities for them. It's a building that's been around for a while. It could probably have new carpeting or something. All in all, you get a clean smell when you go in, and the staff is friendly. I don't have a problem with it.
They have a beauty salon, and they have someone that comes in for their nails. They have someone that comes in for bible study, and they have church service. They have lunch outings, or they go to the store. They do things with the residents. I just think they need to watch more for people that are diabetic. She has only been there a week, so I know it's going to take adjustment. The food is good. We have eaten there. Some of the areas just need a little upgrading.

We really like Savannah Court of St. Cloud, but we cannot afford it. We found it to be very clean and very nicely put together. It looks like a place that my mother-in-law would enjoy. The staff is very friendly, very outgoing, and very helpful. We even got a call back after our tour just to see what we were thinking. Unfortunately, we would not be able to afford it. They showed us a large room; I guess it was like a multipurpose room where they were doing their exercises. They also showed us an open court outside, and the salon for haircutting. They showed us a room for two people and then a single unit. The rooms were very clean. In fact, one of the rooms they showed us was being remodeled.

I love Savannah Court of St. Cloud and I'm so happy. The people are absolutely wonderful and it's a very happy place. We have clean tablecloths and cloth napkins at every meal, and everybody is served individually. We all get the same food, but with individualized drinks. Judy is a wonderful cook. The place is clean and wonderful. We play Bingo with the numbers on, card Bingo, cornhole, exercising almost every morning, and walks outside one day a week. The staff is excellent.

Savannah Court was absolutely horrible. The people weren’t friendly and snobby. The residents in the corridors wouldn’t even say, “hi.” The grounds were terrible and muddy and parking spaces were very limited. The woman was supposed to show me around, but she only showed me one room.

My mother is a resident of Savannah Court. Since our initial contact with the staff we have felt welcomed as part of a family. We toured several facilities and although this may not have been the most modern or offered all the "bells and whistles" of the others, mom called this her home. Mom has resided at Savannah Court for six months and is one of the family. Her health has improved, I know she is getting the proper medications, and she is interacting with others daily. The staff is attentive to her needs and she is not alone Any issues have been handled quickly by staff onsite.
I am happy mom found a place she can call home and is treated with kindness and respect.

The administrator Gail alienates residents from their families. She locks away cell phones in her office. They can only eat at 3 designated times during the day, then the kitchen is closed.
This is probably to control the mountains of cockroaches crawling through that cesspool of a place
The floors are nasty, the food is gross, activities are a joke. Exercise time is walking around the hallways.
They pile residents up on the couch in the TV room.
The couch has blood and fecal stains on it.
The staff spends time watching visitors like a hawk or on their cell phones.
Please don't send your family here to this dump.

Savannah Court of St Cloud is a very nice for assisted living place. They were able to show us a couple of the rooms, and they were very nice. The residents had them decorated nicely as well. The room seemed efficient and large enough for one person. With their dining room, they had tables all around; everybody was sitting around each table. The place is very homey looking and very nice. The staff was very nice during the visit. They told us everything, and they asked if we had any questions. They said if we are interested to call back.

Savannah Court we did not like. My husband and I call it a nursing home with carpet, and the functioning of the people there is much lower than my parents' right now. The overall atmosphere was that of a nursing home just with carpeted floors. With the food and activities and everything, it seemed like it was just a bare minimum, and we just really did not like it. We toured it because it was close to our house. We are trying to find something a little closer to our house for them, but we did not like it at all. I guess it was OK. It just didn't meet the needs of my parents at this time.

Since my mother's stroke in Sept 2013, she has been in 4 facilities for support. I can say that Savannah Court rates with the best in services provided of those she has stayed. As with any facility of this type, you will have to fine tune the individuals needs and be somewhat flexible and patient in the adjustment period. Gail Makuch , Executive Director, has helped immensely in navigating my mother's stay. Issues are addressed and corrected in short order. My HAT is off to the Staff at this facility.

Savannah Court maintains a family atmosphere. My dad is a resident. He is very well loved and taken care of. I couldn't be more happier with his care. I do have just one issue and that is the laundery service - not so good. If it is plausible for a family member to do the resident's luandry then they should. If not it is passible.

I didn't know all of the questions to ask when moving my dad from Indiana to Florida in November after he recovered from a broken hip. The staff at Savannah Court provided answers to questions we didn't even think of to ask. My dad has been a loner for the past 10 years, living alone in his own house. Today, the staff took a group of residents for a walk, and then back to the facility to play Wii Bowling. I never thought my dad would participate in anything like that and the pictures showed how much of a good time he had. The facility is clean, the staff is friendly, kind, professional, and very helpful. Anytime my dad pushes the button on his alert necklace, someone shows up within seconds to see what he needs. Special events are scheduled on a regular basis for those who wish to participate. The dining room is inviting with tablecloths, and decorations on every table. The residents seem to be very happy. I love the way that Savannah Court has such a family atmosphere. I feel that I made the right choice for my dad.

The facility was really nice. The staff was both friendly and knowledgeable. I had my doubts about putting my great grandmother in a home, but this one was not like the things you hear about on the news. The bad stuff that is. Everyone was willing to accommodate us and our large family.

My experience at this particular facility was much more pleasant than I expected. My perception of these places prior to my visit was more like a hospital type environment, where everything seemed cold and uncomfortable. Fortunately, this did not seem to be the case at all. The common area seemed more like a nice office building or a hotel, and the whole space seemed much less sterile than I had pictured. The room that I saw seemed comfortable enough, with nice accommodations. It did not have have florescent lighting like a hospital room may feature. All of the employees I encountered seemed friendly and helpful.
