The staff is very caring and learn what each resident needs and wants. The rooms are a good size enough room for a bed, chairs or a couch and a small table. The room has a small refrigerator and a good size bathroom. The building and rooms are not fancy by any means but they comfortable, well lit and windows with a view. The food is very good again not fancy but many of the residence are not into eating fancy. My mother is very comfortable here. What i like best is how much the staff cares about the residents and how well they take care of them

I was grateful to find this place for my dear friend. He was shown such respect and care by the staff while he was there. He made many friends while he was there and always well of the staff. The staff always treated him and I with the most respect.

The Gardens of Port St. Lucie was very nice. The rooms were not quite big. We went to some of the activities that they invite the public to do, which was very nice. They put out a little spread for eating, and that was very good. Inside and outside it's very nice. There wasn't much storage space in the rooms. The staff was very nice. They had a library, a game room, and a piano or organ for people to use. They also had a gardening room that people could go in and learn how to garden, or grow plants on their own. They had a laundry room for the guests if they wanted to use it. There are church services on Sundays. And they have a bus that take the people to the stores, theaters, and different trips during the week.

I just recently was a patient at Palm Garden of Port St. Lucie. My experience with the people that work here was exceptional, I felt real care and concern from the Administration to those I engaged with in housekeeping, the professionals from the OT & PT Therapist, to the awesome Nureses and CNA's, each were wonderful and worked hard to get me back up on my feet and back to my life. The facility is clean, warm, friendly and inviting and if I am ever in need of a rehab facility due to a health crisis, I won't hesitate to request Palm Garden of Port St. Lucie. I love All of you that got me home, thank you for your hard work, your wonderful care and your great and real concern for my health and healing. Shout out (in no order and apologies if I missed naming you) Maude LaDonna Sherille Gabrielle (Gaby) Erin Trish Dawn Dawne Jeffery Justin Maria Jackie Lou Becky Maureen Carol sorry if I missed naming you May the Lord Bless, Palm Garden of PSL and All those that are associated with this amazing rehabilitation facility and Thank you All for your good good care :-)

Daughter Of A Therapy Resident Short Term, My Mom Fell And Broke Her Hip Was In Hospital And Had Surgery. The Therapy Director Gave Me A List Of Places That My Mom Could Go To, So I Started Calling The People Who Answered The Phones Acted As Though They Did Not Want To Talk. And I Saw The Gardens On The Paper, But I Always Knew Who They Were When We Would Drive By. So I Made The Phone Call And I Was Getting Late But The Young Man Who Answered Told Me To Call Dorothy She Is The Director Of The Gardens They Take Calls 24 Hours A Day And When I Did I Was So Glad I Did. She Was So Sweet And Very Understanding And Talked To Me And Told Me Everything I Needed To Know, And Stayed In Touch With Me And Made Sure That My Mom Had A Private Room As She Is Picky, The Nurse's Came In And Knew Just What To Do, They Treated Her With Care And Kindness The Whole Time She Was There One Month, The Food Was Great, The Therapy Workers Are Fantastic, The Nurse's Are Wonderful And Kind. If You Need A Place For Your Loved One And Can Afford It The Gardens Is The Place To Be. Thank You Everyone Who Looked After And Cared For My Mom, I Will Be Forever Greatful For All You Did. " Merry Christmas & Happy New Year "

My mom's moving into the Gardens of Port St. Lucie. I like it a lot. The facility is not too small and not too large. I thought the hallways and the elevators were dark.

My mother was in the Gardens of Port St. Lucie for over a year. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I think sometimes though that they don’t have enough time for each of the people. There weren’t enough activities as far as I was concerned; but other than that, everyone was absolutely very polite, very nice, very caring, and the food was very good. Mother has dementia, she is incontinent, and has diabetes. They did not keep her in a hospital bed like the others wanted to do. Mother had her own little apartment with her own double bed, a chair, a little table. Inside they had a little refrigerator, and a microwave. She had a closet, and her own bathroom. That’s what I liked about it best.

Thought security and staff awareness of who and where every resident was excellent. Rooms nice but bathrooms need an update. Liked inner courtyard where residents could walk outside without being off grounds.

I visited The Gardens, and the woman I talked to was very brusque, so I didn’t feel like she was interested in my questions. I did go back a second time, and she took a lot more time with me. I think the people at the front desk were very friendly. There was a poker game going on with the residents when I went there. The last time I was there, the thing that was disturbing to me was I was shown a room, and there was a urine smell in the hall. The room was L-shaped with a living room, a bedroom, and a bathroom. They could have a little bit more space. I talked to some of the residents; they were happy with the food, and it looked fine as well.

I went to the Gardens. The lady was extremely nice. She showed me the rooms, and she gave me a lot of information. If I had to choose, that would probably be one of the two places that I would choose. They had private and semi-private rooms. They were nice, clean, and probably way more than what my husband needed. They had activities, but when I was there, it was lunchtime so they were eating. They gave some little sweets after I left, and they were fine. I would recommend it to others if they could afford it.

My mother in law liked The Gardens of Port St Lucie the best. It’s close to the hospital and shopping. The rooms have nice a set up. The medical care is good, as well as the food. They take them out on a bus to places on certain days. Their sales people, caregivers and people that lived there stood out among the rest of the places we visited. However, they could have more social activities.

The environment at The Gardens of Port St. Lucie was similar to other facilities I looked at. It also seemed open and friendly. Their staff was friendly. They care about their residents and they would address them by their first names. They try to keep them from just sitting in their rooms. They have numerous activities for them. They have a lot of field trips, transportation to doctors, and different onsite social activities planned there. They have somebody who is responsible for coming up with different activities and stuff.

What I liked about The Gardens was that every resident looked happy and it wasn't just their smile, you can see it in their eyes that they were happy. They were suitably dressed and well groomed. The person in charged that I talked knew everybody's name. It was like a big family and I was very impressed. The residents who needed more care had the option to stay in their apartments or move to their other side of the facility, which is more like nursing home where they can have more care. Another thing, when you walk through the door, it doesn't smell. It will be the place where I would be comfortable putting my dad in. It was excellent.

Anything looks good but stay there. This place is not 5 star maybe 1 star. The employees are friendly but only do what they can get away with. Dirty, old and not modern in any way.

The Gardens was okay but the staff wasn't as lively as the other place we went to. It was a little farther away from my place.

The Gardens of Port St. Lucie was highly recommended by some of our friends who have seen it. It was also near my sister's place. My father and I visited the facility unannounced. The staff was courteous and she showed us around even if there was the flu outbreak. They had a pet dog which my father really liked. He wanted a facility where pets were allowed. There was also a small garden where the residents could plant anything. I noticed that there was always somebody if you needed assistance.

I visited my grandfather about 3 times at the facility. Every time I was there the staff was always very friendly and helpful. The facility is very large, however, the staff really seemed to care about the patients and their family and made it seem very cozy and home like. There was some confusion over how to pay for my dinner when I went to dine with my grandfather, however, the front desk took it upon themselves to figure it out and not make me jump through hoops so that I could just concentrate on my grandfather. The food was very bland, but the dining room was bright, super clean, and there was even live music. My grandfather shared a room, it was adequate in size and was very bright. The room didn't have many more amenities than a standard hospital room but the facility itself had an ice cream parlor, reading and game room, and the staff was more than happy to get anything my grandfather required. The room was always clean and the staff was attentive without being intrusive to the time I wanted to spend with my grandfather.
