My sister is a resident at Midtown Manor and has been for several years. Over the past year it seems as if some very positive changes have ben made. The facility is nicer, cleaner, staff seem to be more friendly. I know it has changed Administrators and management so maybe that's why but myself as well as my sister have noticed a huge change in how things are run. Whatever you're doing keep it up because it really is making a difference and she is much happier there now then she was in the past.

My brother has mental health issues and was admitted to the facility a few months ago. We have found that Midtown Manor really suits his needs from a medical and social standpoint. It seems to be all around great care. he is enjoying his time there and has made some friends at the facility. I also have found that the Administrator has been excellent in communication w/ me regarding his care something which I have found to be rare in several facilities we have dealt with over the years. Sure the place could use a bit of a makeover aesthetically however we are most pleased with Midtown Manor so far and the care that our brother is receiving. Should that change I will update this review but so far we are very pleased.

My mother has been in the facility for about 7 months and so far things are going well. The staff seems to be very caring. I have met the director, a wonderful lady named Tresa and several other residents and staff. Her room is clean, she's well taken care of, she's made some new friends. So far I have no complaints. I'm pleased with my moms care at the facility and she seems happy there as well.

Was visiting a family member for a 4th of July party at the MIdtown Manor. The place seems nice, friendly staff and residents looked happy and like they were having a nice time.

Placed my Auntie with mental disabilities in this care home. Midtown Manor seems real nice. The people that works there seem to be real nice and helpful and are giving my autie good care. We went to a mothers day partie there, was really nice, had lots of food, drinks and a cake. Overall the place seems good and she's happy.

For the last 3 years Midtown Manor has been struggling with bedbug infestation to the point that now the whole building is infested. Not a single bedroom is without bedbugs. Some residents are covered with bedbug bites all over their bodies. Residents have shown the actual bedbugs and bites on their bodies to the staff. Midtown Manor is not only ignoring the evidence, but also denying help to these vulnerable residents.
Some rooms have been treated with spray, but the infestation has not been abated.
At this time, January, 2016, there are rumors of inspectors coming to evaluate the problem and also rumors or a shut down. It is unknown what will happen next.
If you are considering placing a loved in the facility, visit and talk, not only to the staff, but to the residents themselves and draw your own conclusion.
The purpose of this post is to help the current and future residents.

Midtown Manor's home enviroment is very warm and inviting. Mom's been living there for 3 years now. I love coming to visit and seeing all the decorations, the way to staff interacts with the residents and the activities. The food is wonderfully cook, well portioned and all home cooked!
