Oakwood East Retirement Center is an eclectic, down-to-earth community situated among beautiful trees. We specialize in the care of elderly men. All rooms are private and staff can see every room from the kitchen and are always aware of each resident and their needs.

I visited Oakwood East. It was very nice, but they had stairs there, and it was not wheelchair compatible. The doors to go to the bedroom were too small, so I cannot fit in there with a wheelchair. I would have to use a walker to go to the bedroom. I met one staff member who showed me around and he was very nice. They have one main room, a living room where everybody goes and watches TV. It's basically just a house with separate bedrooms.
