My mother Virginia Weltman was a resident at Fairway Chalet and I could not have found a better place for mom during the last 5 months of her life. The caretakers including the owners Danny and Narrisa were the most caring and compassionate people I could have ever hoped to find to provide the care my mother received. Moms dementia required more care than I could no longer offer and when I first visited Fairway Chalet I fell in love with the facility and knew this was the place where my mother was meant to be. The facility is always clean, the caretakers always have a smile on their face and I never had any doubts about the care my mother received. When I was looking for a place for mom I needed to have a peace of mind and absolutely no doubts what so ever that the place mom would be was a place that I myself would want to be. Fairway Chalet far exceeded my expectations and knowing that Danny and Narrisa were a big part of moms care I never had second thoughts. Whether I called to speak with mom on the phone or visited mom I was always greeted like family making Fairway Chalet not just a facility but making it a beautiful home and environment for my mother. If I had questions they were always answered and if Danny or Narrisa had any concerns they called me without hesitation and included me with everything. I am so grateful to have found Fairway Chalet and so blessed that mom was able to get the care and comfort she needed while being provided with the love, dignity and compassion I so dearly wanted for my mother. Thank you Danny, Narrisa and all of the caregivers at Fairway Chalet for being there and taking care of my mother. All of you will forever be in my thoughts and heart for everything you provided to my mother.

My parent is currently living here. I had looked to move him here in the past but there were no openings..Since then they have expanded to a max. of 14 residents so luckily we were on a waiting list! The facility is owned by an RN and his wife, and attention to detail is consistent. Previous state and county inspections of the facility are outstanding. They include a lot of fresh fruits in the dietary plans, unlike many facilities that use canned fruit as a convenience and cost savings. And it is VERY clean...all the time. There are patios that residents can sit outside and overlook a golf course or a baseball field, so always activity.

My mom will be moving to Fairway Chalet tomorrow. An RN opens it and is hands-on pretty much all the time, which is hard to find in a facilty. They seem to be more concerned and on the ball. They are on the mark on what is needed. They make the people walk every day, which the other places don't do. I am very impressed with them. The residents seem to like them. It is small, it is only 11 bed and that's what I am looking for because my mother needs a lot of care. I talk to the residents the other night and they are very nice. They have a lot of good things to say about them. I am pretty much happy with what I am hearing and it is way better than the facility I have seen previously. When you look at it, it is not modern. It is old. Overall, it is not a very good looking place, but when it comes down to care, I think they are going to do very well.
