I have to say my Nana loves this place more than anywhere she’s been. She’s 95 but she’s still a spitfire and tells it like it is. She considers the staff and owners family. She truly loves them and says they are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. They cater to her by making her special meals because they know what she likes and dislikes. They keep finding fruits to add to her ice water because she hates drinking water but she’s staying hydrated so they must be very persuasive with their H2o solutions. She always looks great when we visit- dressed nicely, we’ll groomed and color coordinated. She has always been a sharp dresser and I love that they take the time to help her pick out jewelry for each outfit. They even get her involved with Activities although she says she’s not too crafty they help her out and she enjoys the games, parties and outings. Her room is all fixed up how she wants it with her favorite recliner and her big tv. I can bring the kids to visit and the house is always clean and doesn’t smell like most homes with elderly people in them. Some holidays she doesn’t even want to go out because she’s excited about the party they’ve been planning at the ALF so we just visit with her there so she doesn’t have to miss out. The other residents seem nice. It’s like 25 or 30 people but it doesn’t seem busy or hectic. It’s a very homelike, laid back environment. Nana is happy and that’s what matters.

My experience with this facility has been very positive. The environment is like a home. The people are all friendly and get along with each other very well. It’s been the same staff for the entire time my dad has been there and they are really great people who love what they do. Lots of extra activities, outings and celebrations that they don’t do at other places. My father was in a much more expensive place before moving to Countryside Haven and he didn’t get near the amount of one on one attention he does now. The place is always clean and decorated with the latest crafts created by the residents. The staff is always smiling and helpful. The residents are included in everything- they help plan party menus, outing destinations, entertainment that comes in, they even voted on paint colors for the common areas when they updated the facility last year. The new owners are very involved and genuinely seem to enjoy working with the elderly. Residents clearly love and appreciate the staff and owners- I think that says it all!

I loved Countryside Haven. The staff was super nice, and it was a very small group of residents. It felt very homey and definitely did not look like a resort. It looked like a home that had a fireplace and an area for them to sit outside. Everything was clean. The way that they engaged their members and worked with them was very comforting. That's where we wanted to put my grandfather. They had a private bedroom and bathroom that had a window with a view. They had an outdoor porch area where they could go and sit and have a view, and it was very tranquil. They were building an outdoor area. They also had a kitchen area. We went right around Christmastime so it was all decorated and felt super cozy and happy. The residents were fairly high functioning. The staff was amazing. It wasn't the most beautiful building I've ever seen, but it was very clean and very homey.

Countryside Haven was a nice place. The people were very nice and spent a lot of time with me. It was not fancy at all but it was very clean and seemed adequate. It looked like they were doing a good job there. The owner actually came and talked to me. I saw some residents eating and it looked like they were getting good meals. I would recommend it especially because their pricing was reasonably good. The staff and the owner were very responsive, and I think it would really be a good choice.

Countryside Haven was very nice and friendly. We liked that they seem to care much about the residents, and we liked the location; it was back in sort of a woodsy area. The rooms were clean and nice. They have loads of big rooms and porches which are very nice, and the price was comparable.

The people are very nice to us at Countryside Haven; they’re very kind and sweet. It has a nice, small, open environment. It’s perfectly adequate. They took our son who was a difficult patient. The staff waas friendly and kind.

This is a small facility, where personal care is top notch. It is more like a home rather than an institution. My Mother seems to be very happy there. Jeri, daughter of a resident
