Cinnamon Cove was recommended by my mom's primary care physician. So, we checked it out, interviewed with them, and thought it was a good fit for mom; and it is. Her room is huge and all of her stuff is there. It's three times the size of the room that she was in before. They have excellent, excellent food and an experienced staff. They are great with mom. They're very friendly and very knowledgeable. She's a fall risk, so her activities are limited. It's in a fully wooded area with lots of birds and flowers, which she loves. They have three porches, and the place is safe and homey.

My grandmother-in-law was a resident at Cinnamon Cove for about two years. She was always pleased with the care given to her by the staff and the facility was always clean. Also, she loved the food!

Cinnamon Cove is a small group home with 24 patients. I enjoy it because it's a close-knit group. The only disadvantage is I don't have as many options for food for my diabetes that I would like, but they're helping with that. I would like to have a motorized wheelchair, but it is not big enough for that. If you go to the bigger places, they're more expensive, so I decided to come here where I can afford it. The staff is wonderful and do everything for you for $1,500 a month. I'm in a two-patient room without a bathroom. They have three public bathrooms down the hall. The rooms have a closet and a dresser. There's not too much room, but there's enough to get by, and I have a good roommate. We have cable TV and each wear a call button, so if we need assistance, we can call a CNA to come in. We don't have much in the way of activities because it's not a big enough place for that. They don't have entertainment or anything like that.

Cinnamon Cove feels good to us. It is very clean, and the residents all seem to be pretty happy. That's what we like about it. There aren't any up-charges. My mom is quite happy there. The place is very comfortable and very home-like. The assistants are very attentive to the patients. It's like a home care. They sit around and watch TV in a group and have different areas where they can sit. They have a reading room, or they can go outside on the patio. Everybody moves about freely and there's always someone there if they need something. Everyone is very clean-looking. Mom just had a haircut today, and she is very happy with it. They seem to be enjoying the food there.

Cinnamon Cove was terrible. I didn’t get a good, welcome feeling, and it didn’t appear as though they really cared about their patients. The facility smelled bad. The rooms were shocking, like little boxes with dirty, old furniture in them. They were horrible. They didn’t have any activities for the residents. You have people sitting in front of the television, and then you have some just looking around the place. The place was not clean. I was shocked at how expensive it was. It was way more expensive than the other facility I visited that was very polished. Basically, Cinnamon Cove was just a place where people could stay. It didn’t offer them any quality of life or anything. I saw the menu on the wall that they had written on the chalkboard and somebody with a plate of food in front of them, and it looked disgusting. The person that runs the facility didn’t seem to care either. He showed me around, but he was just doing his job. There wasn't any heart in it.

I went to Cinnamon Cove without my mom. I like it, but it was a little dark inside. The rooms were small. I knew it’s definitely not a place for my mom. The staff seemed fine. The people who live there were very quiet and very like they’re not really there. It would be OK for elderly that needs more intensive care. I really wasn’t impressed with it.

My Mom has been there for almost a week, we toured the home about 2 months before she moved in. She is comfortable there and I feel at ease that she is treated well and with dignity. There are plenty of sitting rooms that also makes it good for the residents to be comfortable and for visitors. I met some other residents and they say that they like living there. The staff are friendly and helpful. I rated excellent because we have toured other homes some were nice but prices can be very high.and this home offers the things that my Mom and the family likes.

My aunt is in Cinnamon Cove. The food is good. They are freshly cooked every day. The staff is very friendly. The place is very clean. They attend to her. She has no complaints. She is very happy. The owners are always there. When you walk in, you will not smell anything. One thing they can improve on would be the brightness of the place.
