My mom has moved into Addington Place of East Lake. It's closest to me. It was affordable. It was clean. The staff there are nice. They are very friendly and attentive. The food is very good. They have many activities. They have bingo, and they have outings. They have crafts and music. They have a chapel, they have a meeting room, and they have a laundromat if they want to do their own laundry. They have an area to play pool. They have a library.

We went to Addington Place of East Lake. We didn't eat the meals, but we looked at the menu and liked what we saw. The staff was friendly. The place was clean. They can assist with my mom's needs as far as helping her get dressed and helping her get to the cafeteria area. These were questions we had for them when we were there, and they said, yes, they would be able to get her to the cafeteria and back to her room if she needed assistance, and they're willing to do that. They have a home theater room, walking areas, landscaped gardens, a heated pool, and a salon-barber shop, and they do a lot of engaging social activities to stimulate the mind, body, and soul.

We toured Addington Place of East Lake. When you talk about staff that works together and does well with each other, I would give them a five plus because they've been forever. You could tell that the staff was very good with each other. What I didn't like about Addington is that they were under construction. During the time that mom would be staying there, they would be doing the screened-in porches. I would pay $1,000 more to stay there than in the community we have chosen, and I didn't feel comfortable with that. I didn't feel comfortable with the under construction, the noise, or the people that might be working right outside her window for the three months that she'd be there. I just didn't think that was right. It's a very nice building, but they're updating it right now. It may take a little bit. The staff was great. You could tell that just by sitting there and observing. It was a moving, living thing and you could see they were very polite and conscious of each other's needs and the needs of their residents. It was really good. I'm not going to say that the rooms weren't nice. They were, but they were under construction. So, the screened-in patios were not screened in. They were wide open, and they were working on the outside to get them fixed up. And that took away from it. They had beautiful grounds there where people could be in a nice little outside area. They didn't have the railings around the bathroom. It's not that they wouldn't assist mom, it's just that they didn't have a handicapped facility for her. But not everybody needs handicap accessibility so it could be a very nice place for somebody that didn't need it. Addington Place probably would be above board with activities because not only did they have internal things, but they also had a lot of external activities, even more so than other places. They were very good, and their activities were excellent. I would say that it was clean. All they had was a 1-bedroom apartment open. It had windows from the bedroom to the living room, and open holes in the wall from the bedroom to the living room. If I wanted somebody in my living room watching TV, I wouldn't want light coming from my living room into my bedroom. That was just my thought process. It looks nice and airy, but it doesn't work. If you had lights on and you were fixing yourself in the kitchen, those lights would be shining on you in the bedroom.

We had an in-person tour of Addington Place of East Lake. The staff was very welcoming, great over the phone, very accommodating, and gave me a good tour. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and invested in what she was doing. Their rooms are bigger. If you're looking for more of a one-bedroom apartment, I think that they would be a good choice. They had a full kitchen and a lanai outside. They certainly had beautiful rooms, and it was a high-end type of place.

Addington Place of East Lake just got everything. It's a lovely place. It is in a very dense, wooded area. The only problem is that it's on East Lake Road, which is a busy road. So to try to make turns in and out of the facility is very difficult. But it's a perfect place and a lovely place to live. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and just pleasant. Everything about it was just extremely nice. I know that they're very proud of their chef, but we did not eat there. They showed us a one-bedroom. It was lovely and very nice. They had all the amenities.

My mother-in-law is at Addington Place of East Lake now. Our experience thus far has been excellent. It has only been a couple of weeks, but we found them to be very accommodating and compassionate towards her. So far, we have been very impressed with the level of service and care that she is receiving. She seems to be adjusting well, she is making friends, and the meals have been excellent for her. It has been a very comfortable environment for her. I would highly recommend them. They have different games they play that are done to promote health, like hitting balloons and doing things like that. My mother-in-law has also enjoyed playing bingo, which she has done a couple of times, and they have a walking club that she has been doing, as well. Those were the primary things that have been good to her.

I've been satisfied with Addington Place. The food is very good here, and the people are very, very friendly. I have a 1-bedroom apartment, with a sink, a microwave, a refrigerator, and a small counter. No stove, burners, oven, or anything like that. There are also activities every day like crafts, cards, and bingo. Cleanliness is very good, too. Overall, I have no complaints about them.

I've got my brother moved in. So far, so good. His room is very nice and very clean, and it's been repainted and recarpeted. It's on the third floor overlooking a pond and nature preserves. They're doing something almost every day. There are movies, puzzles, Wii bowling, bingo, different games, and traveling. The staff is great. They're good with all the clientele, they seem to do a good job, and they seem to care. They have an exercise room, a salon, a beautiful pool, a hot tub, and he has a wonderful screened-in deck that he can sit outside on.

My godmother lives in here. It's very nice and they're usually very polite. The food is good. It doesn't smell funny. They have a salon that she goes to once every two weeks, and they have movie nights, bingo nights, community dining, and field trips. They go out to restaurants and to the grocery store.

It was a beautiful facility. We were invited into lunch immediately. We were seated at our own table and noted that when every person that came into the restaurant was seated, their wheelchair or walker was taken and put into a closet at the far end of the room, so there was no sign of disability vehicles in the dining room. It was a step higher than other places as far as quality food. The place had a richer feel. It was nice for my mother. However, the rooms were small. There were beautiful views of the pool and the woods, but the rooms themselves were just so small. Everybody that I met was lovely, but I didn’t get to talk with anybody else.

My parents went into here. The rooms they have are adequate. We wanted a two-bedroom, but they didn't have one available, so they got a one-bedroom, one bath. Everybody on the staff is very confident, and the chef, the food; everything is good. They have a menu for the day, and they also have any-time dining in case you come in at not the meal times. They have charades, Bingo, piano players, exercises, aquatics in the pool, a pool table; they have a lot of things. It is like a five-star hotel. We visited thirteen different places, and this is the one that was chosen.

It is modern. It didn't smell and looked like a hospital. There were a lot of activities. They have everything, all different activities like yoga. They have different types of church. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. The rooms are larger than other facilities we saw.

They invited me for lunch. The place looked very lovely. I talked with some of the people who live there. I liked it, so I signed up and paid to get on their waiting list for a 2-bedroom apartment.

We signed a lease a week ago for my mom. She has a beautiful one-bedroom, 1,041 square-foot apartment with two outside patios. The staff is very cooperative and work hard to get that size of apartment for her. The facility is relatively new. It is clean and modern. They have everything you can possible want. They have a great dining room and the food is good. They even have a beauty shop and nail salons. They take the folks out for shopping three to four times a week and they take care of their doctor's appointment.

It was an awesome place. They were very good to my mom when she was still alive. She was comfortable there. My mom was just there until to the point when she needed more care than they were already providing her. We had to transfer her to another facility.

It was very nice. It was comfortable and homey. The staff was very nice. I think it's an older facility, so the rooms were smaller.
