If I could make my choice, I would choose Tequesta Terrace. They looked really beautiful. I had a very good experience there. The lady was very well informed and experienced. She knew the community very well. She took me on a tour and I saw several meeting places. I was very impressed with the layout of the place. It's on two floors and they have several meeting rooms on both floors so that I liked.
The room I looked at was tiny and not as good as the other ones I've looked at. They showed me a larger one that somebody was living in and it would be nicer. The small one may be just fine because I don't want my husband to stay in the room. I don't want him to be too comfortable because he needs to socialize. I want him to be with people.
They had a coffee chat session where they go and talk. The staff showed me a huge list of activities for the week. She also showed me a very nice theater where they can go and watch movies. The dining area was beautiful; it was small, but they had more than one. They had a room off of it and it could be used for meetings and families. They have everything, so I was impressed. They were setting up their gym and it seemed fairly well equipped. They have a lovely terrace in the middle. It's a beautiful place. Each room that I saw had an enormous closet.

Tequesta Terrace was very upscale and beautifully appointed. They're a little short staff, but the staff seemed very pleasant and engaged. They did not have a pool, which was a downside for me, and I have the feeling that they didn't have as many activities and events going on. Other than that, it's a lovely place.

I like Tequesta Terrace. It was a very welcoming, upbeat atmosphere, and there were lots of activities for them to do. The staff and the residents seemed very happy and very outgoing. The facility itself was in very good shape and they were doing remodels, so that was nice. It seemed like they have some type of activity for everybody. They're remodeling the whole thing. They wanted my father to go back next time and have lunch, but I wasn't there to have the food. Supposedly, they have a really good restaurant.

Tequesta Terrace is very wonderful. Leslie, the marketing person, is wonderful, and so is everybody else. They take real good care of Mom. The food is pretty good. The rooms are clean, with no smell, and it's perfect. They have all kinds of activities. She can join in, but she just doesn't. They're trying, but she's stubborn. They have a physical therapy room that is small, but adequate, and they have a room where you can go do things like crafts. They always have something to do. They're very friendly.

We found a place called Tequesta Terrace and we were really convinced that they would give good care for my brother because we were able to witness that. They blended the facility into a kind of home-type feeling facility. They were very gracious and compassionate. I feel confident with the facility. My brother is happy and he is socializing there. We were lucky to find this facility.
