I went to see East Ridge at Cutler Bay and it's excellent. The only thing is that they have unfurnished apartments but they have all kinds of activities, physical therapy, and meal planning. I liked that everybody I spoke to speaks English. We toured the assisted living but they also have independent living apartments. It's $6000-$7000 a month. The apartments are unfurnished, they have a demo that you furnish it, but they said they can come up with furniture if you're not able to. They were really good. I talked to other patients who were there and asked them about the service, the food, and stuff. It's one of the nice ones. I did not inquire about the staff's medical knowledge or anything like that or license, but they seem to be very kind. I tried their food. They were a little light on kosher food, but that's okay. They have a recreation room and it's beautiful.

East Ridge at Cutler Bay was beyond fabulous. It's expensive, but it's unbelievable. It's a true community. They have townhouses, a woodshop for the men, and a nursery where you can actually go and take classes or go and plant your herbs. It's wonderful. You can ride your golf cart around, they have a swimming pool, and everything is taken care of. The young girl who toured us was great. They have a beautiful dining room, a big banquet hall, a bistro, and a restaurant. You can order and have the food sent to your room, or you can come and pick it up, whatever you want. If I had to retire and live somewhere, that's where I would go.

My parents has moved into East Ridge at Cutler Bay. They are fabulous. They've gone in as independent living, but it's a step-up and if they have to go to full assisted living, they can do that. The staff is very caring, very nice, and take good care of them. The personnel are very friendly and very caring. The little villa that they're in is adorable, and it's something that they're enjoying.

East Ridge is excellent and expensive at more than $5,000 a month. It has a very friendly atmosphere with two or three floors, and they also have private residents for couples. The staff is friendly and very responsive. The amenities were very nice, and I think I saw transportation in the complex. However, they take neither Medicare nor Medicaid.

My mom is in the assisted living at East Ridge at Cutler Bay. They have bingo and parties for the elderly citizens every week. There is a garden outside where residents can sit and enjoy. There is an interaction center whereby they have the residents in a large room and they play board games and show them how to use computers. They offer three meals a day. The staff members are lovely, very attentive, and excellent. They come in and give her showers. The food is lovely too. The cleanliness is excellent.

Eastridge is a beautiful facility. It is clean, well decorated, grounds are immaculate, picture perfect. But if you are looking for medical care, go someplace else. There is very little staff and the one that is there is clueless. The physical rehab is worthless. The staff that is there spends their time watching Nexflicks on their device or just sit around and it would probably take a 5 alarm fire to get them off their behinds. When a patient presses the call button, good luck with that. The resident doctor is a ghost and the nurses are way under staffed for the amount of money they charge. If you just need to find a place to stay and cook for you this is it, but any medical care, stay away.

East Ridge Retirement Village was clean and very friendly, knowledgeable, and able to answer my questions. The patients were also clean which is very important, and I didn't see anybody just hanging out in the hallway. They have special memory care activities, and when I was there, they were doing a big puzzle which was nice. Pricing is a little expensive.

I liked East Ridge Retirement Village the most. It was smaller. The staff is friendlier, and the people are more down to earth.

East Ridge Retirement Village is top of the line, the rooms are beautiful, and they’re brand new and spacious. The care is fantastic, and the atmosphere is like they’re in a top hotel. The staff is very good and very professional. They just need to improve on the number of staff.

If you are retired, healthy, and capable of independent living, this community is very good. However, if you require assisted living - be careful. The aides and nurses are understaffed and often cannot keep appointments or aid in "activities of daily living" on a timely basis.

My visit at East Ridge was excellent. It was a first class facility. Their rooms were excellent. Their staff were very helpful and cheerful. We consider going there myself one day. I would recommend this facility. It's expensive but it's of high quality.

we found the place to be very clean and grounds well taken care off the rooms were a bit small and we did notice a few things here and there that we did like the facility is not very close to a hospital and after we compared the detailed Medicare data for East Ridge Retirement Village with other senior care providers in Florida. When compare to the state averages for staffing, the number of registered nurse (RN) hours per resident per day is about average; Certified nursing assistant (CNA) hours per resident per day is about average; The number of licensed practical (LPN) or vocational nurse hours per resident per day is about average. The most recent health inspection was on 10/14/2010. When comparing the health condition of long stay residents to other nursing homes in Florida, it is less likely for residents to have their ability to move around their room get worse and to lose too much weight for high-risk residents to have pressure sores.

The East Ridge Retirement Village assisted living facility in Miami was one of the places we saw while looking in the region for my friend's mother. We were immediately taken by the lovely exterior and grounds, which looked more like a resort. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, with fountains, parkways and even exotic birds. The tree-lined walkways were easy to navigate. This exercise facility had ample rooms, including an outdoor pool so that it had a relaxing spa feel. They also have daily yoga and aerobics exercise classes and golf. The residents may also safely navigate the lovely grounds for exercise with adequate supervision. The living spaces were generous, with several different floor plans to choose from. There were lovely garden apartments near the pool area, plus larger units available. The dining room was quite nice, with plenty of space. The food we saw looked and smelled delicious. The menus all had healthy food options for all kinds of diets. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. The many planned activities feature everything from book readings and discussions to arts and crafts. The residents are taken to many interesting events in Miami -- which is known for its rich cultural diversity. It is easy for residents to be active in the community and provide support to local organizations to enrich their lives and the lives of others. This is a full service community with exceptional staff -- and we could see how any senior would really enjoy living in this extraordinary environment.
