My friend moved into The Village at Brookfield Common. The facility is very nice. My friend is happy there. He said the food is good. They're very friendly. There's a lot of help. They make him socialize, which he does not do, so it's very good for him, because they're forcing him to go out and eat dinner in the dining room. They have a lovely dining room. The people are very friendly. They have loads of activities for them. They give him transportation to his doctor. They have entertainment, a gym, a little library, and puzzles they can work on. The arrangement is beautiful. It's really set up very nicely. They have a terrace where they can go sit out. It's near shopping. They have different specials for every meal. They give my friend very good care and check on him every evening to find out if he's OK.

Our tour at The Village at Brookfield Common was very good. I enjoyed it a lot. It was a really nice place, but right now, our concern is cost. I like that it's very bright, very cheerful, and very upbeat, and they really treat their residents like their family, which is really nice. The place was very clean, too. We didn't get into too many of the activities, and because of COVID, they are very limited on what they are doing.

I was a short term resident of this facility in 2019. I only saw this website now. Believe me, they say that this has tradition and elegance—so long as you pay the astronomically high monthly rent for small rooms and care charges, that is! The aides are really the ones who run the show and they are obviously overwhelmed but I do give them lots of credit for working so hard with residents. Management will do anything to avoid serious issues unfortunately although they are good at charging a lot. These care facilities are really a step or two up from a nursing home with beautiful decor but the food is (usually) lousy. Exercise class is a highlight and they do make arrangements for physical therapists to come there to give therapy to residents. Trust me, the thing they do the very best, though, is handing out the monthly bills!

We have just moved my father into The Village at Brookfield Common. The rooms are very clean. The staff members are very friendly. We met many people on the staff. There seems to be many activities there. They have rooms full of people sitting and watching TV. There was somebody leading a discussion. It seems that there are lots of activities. The staff is very friendly. They're as good as you could possibly expect. The place is very clean and very comfortable. It seems to be spacious and well kept-up.

The Village at Brookfield Common was a nice place, it also has good parking. I saw the residents playing Bingo at a table and doing some exercises in a room. I liked that the staff and patients are doing different activities and the people that gave us the tour are very outstanding. It's a lovely building and its newer. A lot of the rooms are for two people and accommodates a husband and wife. There are also single rooms, which were very nice. I tried the food and it was very good.

My first impression of The Village was that it looked new, but I thought it was 14 years old. It was clean and well maintained. There was no odor. It was pleasing to the eyes to look at. We went on tour of their three floors. The staff was very friendly. She shook our hands. We met the head chef. He introduced himself and explained a bit about what they did and what the menu was like. He invited us for lunch, but we said: “That was OK. We weren’t expecting any lunch here. We just wanted to stop in and see it because we were in the area.” They were very friendly, very courteous, and took their time explaining things to us. We were two people, and it was a little small. It was more geared towards one person unit.

My mother is at The Village at Brookfield Common, and she has been there for four years. The rooms are beautiful, and so is the facility. It's absolutely gorgeous and really well-appointed. The staff is friendly and really nice. There are a lot of activities. It's expensive, too. You can get full-time nursing, but it costs extra. The facility has assisted living, early memory care, and advanced memory care. They keep it clean, and the staff is very friendly. The food is very good for institutional food. The big problem is that it's just expensive. They take her to all of her doctors.

My visit at The Village at Brookfield Common was good. It was a little older than the other place I visited, and the surroundings were not as good, either, because they did not have much outdoor space. The staff was very good.

My mom moved to The Village, and she is enjoying it. The people there are very nice. The help there is very attentive. They have very nice activities there for the people. The rooms are nice. The only negative thing I will say about it is that my mom is complaining about the food. She says the food is not very good. However, other than that, she says it is fine. So, I will recommend it.

This is a fantastic facility, but what makes it extra special is the enthusiasm, care and love the staff gives to all of the residents. We have had our parents there for almost three years (now just my mother as my father passed) and we have been thrilled with their care. There are really no words to express the gratitude our family has for this amazing "home". Our mother has dementia and she is constantly engaged, supervised, fed, and taken around for activities. She doesn't remember them, but thankfully the staff is great at taking pictures and sharing. We could not ask for more. Her smile says it all. Those of us across the country are able to Skype with her (with assistance from staff) and that has been a fantastic way to keep connected as well. We have looked at many facilities and Brookfield Commons is in a class by itself.

The Village is a nice location and it’s a beautiful place. It’s very high in terms of cost. If I could afford it, it would be a great place to use. My mother-in-law can’t see. The problem is to get somebody to come and take her to meals and everything else; that starts building the cost up phenomenally.

My daughter and I had a tour at The Village. It was very beautiful and lavish. The appointments were very lovely. They had a wonderful presentation. I was impressed with the grandeur of the place. It was like a beautiful hotel with chandeliers. They had nurses and doctors on site, which was a big plus. The apartments were very beautiful. We were there in between meals, but I noticed that there was coffee available all the time. They had soft drinks, juices, and platters of fruits available, also for guests. The dining room was also gorgeous, with high ceilings and big windows. It was like a cruise ship. They had computers, an exercise room, and trips. However, it was probably because of the time, we felt like it was deserted. There was no one around. The people were in their rooms, and there didn't seem to be any particular activities at that time. I thought it was for someone who was more incapacitated than I am. Also, it was more than what I could afford.

We went to The Village at Brookfield Common and it was very nice and clean. It’s a very sunny place. I like the dining area. I like how the residents have their own colorful plates. I like their program and everything that they had to offer. It looked like they offered a lot of things for the residents to do. One thing I did not like about this place is that there was very little place for them to go outside. They have this tiny backyard and I was not impressed with that.

I chose The Village at Brookfield Common for my mother because they had a very high rating and a very good reputation. It was also convenient because it was close to my sister. The staff were very accommodating, helpful and caring. They also made sure that everything was set for my mom to move in and made the move very easy. They handled any issues that came up very promptly and responsibly. The staff were excellent and I liked the people who ran the place. My mom was happy there and she loved it.

My first impression of The Village on brookfield commons was that it seemed very clean and spacious. The employees on staff seemed very well trained and were very polite to me during my visit. The rooms for the patients were slightly small but they did not seem cramped or overly crowded. During my visit, I observed many of the senior patients being carefully escorted down the hallways by what looked like well trained personnel. I was also glad to see that at mealtimes, the seniors were given a choice of what they wanted to eat. One complaint that I have is that the servers and handlers of the food at mealtimes seemed to be untrained in dealing with the elderly. The kitchen staff also seemed to be under employed, only having one person waiting on the patients during mealtimes. Overall, my impression of The Village was very good, and I will definitely consider placing my own parents there if the need arises.

My great-grandmother fell down the steps at home and had other ailments, so we ended up looking for assisted living facilities in the area. We took her to a few of the facilities located in the area, and this by far was the best one. She said that she felt at home after meeting the staff and meeting the person that she was rooming with. She enjoys the daily activities that the facility provides and she always makes an effort to be as active as possible, even though she is pushing 95 years old! I think that this has a lot to do with the staff; they keep her and the other residents motivated to continue to live their lives well into their later years. Every encounter I have had with the staff has been more than pleasurable and I would definitely recommend the Village as a place for anyone in need of an assisted living complex.

I have had nothing but great experiences visiting this facility. The facility is very well decorated and maintained making you feel as if you were in a mansion and living a fine life. There are giant chandeliers and a grand piano in the foyer which provides an elegant appeal to the place. The staff is as friendly as can be and I have never had a problem with them. The residents are very well respected by them and enjoy their company. They help them maneuver around the facility and let them participate it what ever program they would like. The ceilings are low in a lot of the rooms of the facility which makes the average person feel overly tall but makes the residents feel comfortable which their shrinking height and wheel chairs. Everything a resident could want, there are able to access easily within the facility. The only downside I have about the facility is the amount of time a resident can leave the facility and the escape of one patient. More attention has to be paid to when a resident leaves but also their should be more free time granted to go outside so some residents won't have the crave to go outside and try and escape for bits of time. When I am older I would love to live in this facility due the environment and decor that brings a happy and enjoyable living experience full of life and happiness.
