The community offers the flexibility of total independence with supportive services. With such a small setting the culture and care is very personable and intimate. All of our residents enjoy a private room of their selection. Included in the monthly rate are all 3 meals which are delicious, varied and home cooked on premises. Also offered is a wide variety of snacks and beverage options in between meals. Other amenities included in the monthly rate are medication management, weekly housekeeping and laundry, weekly assisted bathing options, daily activities.

Southmayd not only offers contract-free permanent living but also respite or short-term stays for as little as 4 days.

My mom is at Southmayde Homes. They have choices of rooms, i.e., a smaller room, a mid-sized room or a large room. All of them are perfectly able to live in because they're not in the room all day. They are very caring and very interested in each individual. The food is excellent. They serve breakfast and lunch, which is their biggest meal for the day and then at night, they do a lighter fare of food. The dining area is lovely. They set it up like a formal dining room.
