Middlewoods of Newington was very nice. The rooms were large enough so you wouldn't feel as though you were living in a box. You could set up a little living room area and a full bedroom area. It was clean and pleasant. The staff treated me beautifully. They were very friendly, congenial, nice, and not overly gushy. I would recommend it. The dining area was very bright and comfortable-looking, not crowded, which I like. I wouldn't bat an eye or have complaints if I had to go there tomorrow.

My dad has been a resident at Middlewoods in Newington since August 2015. Since my mom passed, my sister & I were looking for a place where he could maintain his independence while being under a watchful eye. We are beyond pleased with the administration, the nurses and all the assistants who get my dad through his day. Each employee is friendly, upbeat, patient and engaging. The activities each week are excellent (great parties, too!) The dining room is lovely & shares a very attentive staff who make quite sure that the resident is satisfied with the meal. My dad's apartment is clean, comfortable and just the right amount of space. I highly recommend Middlewoods of Newington!!

I know that my grandmother likes being at Middlewoods of Newington and everything is good, so far. It’s a small place but very nice. She loves the food. I know they have several activities as she’s done a few of them. She really hasn’t had any complaints at all.

My mother is at Middlewoods. They're wonderful. I can't say enough good about them. The staff's work attitude is wonderful. The food is excellent. They have a lot of afternoon activities. They take them on trips outside of the place if they want to go. They also take them to church. The community is quite active. I picked them because I like the facility. It is nice and small. It is clean and very updated. The people are excellent.

I liked Middlewoods of Newington. The only person I talked to was the administration. The dining room was nice. I guess they have bingo.

I have had Middlewoods of Newington at the top of my list for my Grandparents and signed up to receive their newsletters. The newsletters only made me fall more in love with updates on activities, outings and residents. I visited the facility during their open house and spoke with an Administrator about the possibility of my Grandparents moving in. I was disappointed to hear that Middlewoods wasn't the best long-term fit due to my Grandmother's Alzheimer's but the Administrator recommended one of their competitors she thought would better suit them. It seems like they're dedicated to the well-being of their residents, even if they're not residents yet. It would have been easy for them to promote their location and then have them go through the hassle of moving again in a few years. I appreciate the help they were able to give me and my Grandparents!

My aunt is currently at Middlewoods. We choose it because her sister-in-law is there also and we use to visit and have lunch with her sister-in-law there before we decide to let her move in. It is a circular building with fifty-four apartment for fifty-four people. The staff is wonderful. They know everybody. I am pleased with the whole staff there. They go shopping on Mondays afternoon, and on Wednesdays, they go outing. They have different kinds of activities. They have veteran's day celebration. They are always doing something. They have churches on Sundays.

I chose Middlewoods because it is small and has a more personal service. I was very impressed with the manager of the place. I really liked the way she treated not only the elderly people that were there, but she was very friendly to all families. It was the warm, caring situation that attracted me to that particular facility. The rooms were small, but adequate. I liked their staff.
