My mother-in-law is moving into Spring Village at Danbury. We chose this place because of its accessibility, cost, and because the staff were caring. They offer interactive activities, and they were very informative and helpful during the tour. There's a small outdoor area for them, and the rest of the inside is clean. They have a salon, and a separate community area for classes, projects, and cooking. It's going to be close to the rest of us, and we can visit her, plus she's familiar with Danbury.

Spring Village of Danbury felt very homey, and the rooms felt very comfortable and homey, too. It felt like a home, and it was nice. The person who took me on the tour was great and very, very helpful. I did not try the food, but the dining area looked very comfortable and lovely. I saw a chair-yoga class going on. It seems like they have gym facilities outside; they have outside spaces. It seems there was a lot to do, but it just seemed to be the smallest of the three places I visited.

The staff at Spring Village at Danbury was very friendly and kind. The place seemed very clean, and they had activities for the seniors. My mom and I had lunch there, and it was very tasty. It was very kind of them to accommodate me because I'm a vegetarian.

This has been a wonderful experience! I am happy and my children are confident that I am safe, content, well cared for. This review does not have enough room to express how pleased we are (both myself and my family).

It feels very welcoming and very homey. It is nicely decorated and doesn’t feel ultra modern. It feels very homey when you walk in and is beautifully decorated. The people are great. They all know each other by first name because it is not a big place, and for her, who is not a super outgoing person, it is really great. They come and invite her whenever they are having an event. They stop over at her room and say, “Would you like to come? We are doing a little concert now,” or whatever it is. I think she needs that little extra push to be social because it is not in her nature. She is better with one-on-one than with groups of people, so it is nice for her. The food is delicious. She is pretty happy with the food, and she is quite picky. You can request special food if you really need or want something, and they always have alternatives on the menu. They are great. They lent her a wheelchair and walker because we don’t have one yet and they could even lend her furniture until she gets her permanent furniture in there. She went for a little while just to test it out, but she is very happy and it looks like she is going to stay.

I was impressed, and I thought they did a very nice job. It's much smaller, and it seemed like it's a different group of people with less money. The food was good and home-cooked. The people I met were very nice. The rooms were pleasant, very well-kept, and very nicely decorated. It's a little bit older, but it was very good too.

It is close to my home, and they would take my mother. It’s lovely, everybody is nice, and they took her with the Foley catheter. The facility is very clean.

Everything's fine at this community. I put my uncle there because it's close to where I live. It seems like in a nice, decent area of town. The rooms were decent-sized and big enough for my uncle. He has the room by himself, has his own bathroom, refrigerator, and it has adequate ventilation. I thought it was nice. Most of the staff are very helpful, attentive, and courteous. The food seemed pretty good, too. I've eaten there a number of times. They also had quite a few activities like sing-alongs, news in the mornings, mass for the Catholics on Saturdays, and bingo or movies a couple of times a week. However, maybe they could have a little bit of variety of food at times and to make the food not so big portions. Most seniors don't eat that much. My uncle also complained a little bit about they had too much pasta, not enough potatoes or not enough rice. The place was also small and only assisted living. They didn't have any dementia care or nursing home. They were in a separate building on another side of the street.
