My parents lived at Monte Vista Grove Homes - The Hearth for many years. The location was very safe and the grounds were very beautiful. It's California-Spanish style. They had recently built a big fitness center and it was very nice. The organization was very old, but this facility was just cared for with all kinds of flowers and fruit trees. People sometimes used to call it The Garden of Eden. They had art classes, classical music classes, Bible studies, weekly convocations with speakers, birthday celebrations once a month, and they had special meals for the holidays. The residents there were just wonderful people, and the staff was very personable and caring. I'm just grateful for the time my parents had there. I highly recommend this place.

My aunt and uncle have lived in Monte Vista Grove for many years and I cannot more highly recommend it! It's obvious it's a Christian run organization as all those in charge, all the employees, and the residents who have the privilege to live there are the nicest people you'll ever meet. It's extremely well run, very clean, with beautiful landscaping and delicious food! Honestly, all I have are good things to say about Monte Vista Grove! It's the best senior living home I've ever seen!

Monte Vista Grove Homes is run by a Christian group, and it is a lot nicer. The people were very well taken care of. The facility is nice, the people were in an activity, and it looked like they were having a good time. I met with the coordinator there, and she was very nice. I met a couple of the nurses walking by in the hallway, and they seem very nice. The grounds were beautiful, and the rooms were very nice. I just think the amenities are fantastic there. It has 24 hours skilled nursing care along with assisted living care. The staff is friendly too. That is where we were going to put my dad, but my mom decided not to put him there at this time.

This is a loving, comfortable, open community of Christian seniors, many of whom have served as missionaries overseas. The staff are top-notch and very caring. The facilities are great, with beautiful gardens and an overall peaceful aura. This is a good home for seniors. They have independent living homes as well as assisted living. There are doctors and medical facilities on site and on call.

We went to check out Monte Vista Grove Homes in Pasadena on the advice of friends, as an assisted living option for my friend's mother. We were immediately struck by the very tranquil aura of the community. the outside resembled a resort, tucked away among beautiful greenery, The main office was very bright and the staff very friendly. Both independent and assisted living options are offered in this community, which would be very convenient. The interior foyer and visiting sections were very nicely decorated. They can accommodate varies levels of ambulation. Each private residence featured safely designed, spacious rooms, convenient kitchenettes and ample living rooms. They all featured beautiful views with plenty of natural light and fresh air. The restaurant style meals looked and smelled really delicious. Snacks are also available whenever residents desire them. The menus included foods for all desires and diets. Communal spaces offered a variety of activities, from games to classes for painting and crafts, They also host a variety of social events on site. There were also rooms to reserved for residents to spend time with their friends and family. They offered regular exercise classes. Physical activity is encouraged as much as possible. There are also many opportunities to go on nature walks and explore the lovely grounds daily. The location is very convenient to all that Pasadena offers, from nature to vibrant city culture. This senior environment is very well-thought out, with home-style living in very beautiful surroundings. Everyone seemed happy to be there and very well taken care of.
