Residents enjoy beautifully appointed surroundings, nutritious and delicious meals, engaging social recreational activities, scheduled transportation services, and personalized assistance and care.

Respite Care:

Respite care provides temporary assistance and relief to family members who are caregivers to their loved ones. Residents in our respite program enjoy delicious meals, personal assistance with activities of daily living, social, educational, and recreational programs, and access to trained staff available 24 hours a day. This is a great option for family members who need to go out on a business trip or vacation, or simply need a short break from caring for their elderly loved ones. With Arcadia Living’s respite program you can be assured that your loved ones’ needs will be met when you are unavailable to do so.

Adult Day Program:

Arcadia Living’s Adult Day Program is designed to provide care and companionship for seniors who need assistance or supervision during the day. Our program offers relief to family members or caregivers, who cannot care for their loved ones during work hours for example, by giving them peace of mind in knowing that their loved ones are cared for in a secure environment with socialization, activities, and meals, while they are at work.

I put my husband in Arcadia Living for respite care while I had a vacation. They took care of him. The only issue I had was that they did not push him to get up and get exercise. They would come in and say, "Are you ready to get up for lunch? Are you ready to get up for breakfast?" "No, I just want to stay in bed." At home I push him to exercise as much as possible, and they didn't do that. They just let him lay in bed all day if that's what he said he wanted to do. Other than that, the staff was very considerate and very caring. They took good care of him. The food was good. The room was fine. It was kind of a spare room, but they made it as comfortable as possible. It was kind of like a hotel room. It was only for a little bit, so he didn't have a lot of his personal things in there. They have assisted living and I found out about the respite care when I went for a tour for assisted living. My husband really enjoyed the food, but he didn't get to the dining room very often. A lot of times, they brought him his meal and fed him in his room, but he did eat well. However, there's no parking. There are only slots for three people to park if you're visiting. Sometimes I would have to park down the street and walk to where he was. It is what it is, but that was the only issue that I had with them. There was not enough visitor parking. They had activities, they had exercise classes, and they had all kinds of stuff. I would send him there again definitely. If he's not in an actual assisted living, and if I do need to be out of town again, I would put him there again, absolutely.
