My dad is a resident of Rockville Terrace Senior Living. The staff is amazing. They're the same every single day as far as being upbeat, and they know every resident by the first name. They know things about them, and they get to know them. The facility overall is amazing.
I haven't tried the food, but my dad has and he's enjoying it. He said he can live off the soup and salad. They have a lot of things to offer like a movie theater, a hair salon on site, and a lot of different activities. They ask the residents what they're interested in. They also have live music on Fridays. They also have an ice cream bar. They each get a calendar all color-coded by activity, and they know what's going on every single day. So, there's always something for someone.

My parents will be moving into Rockville Terrace Senior Living. It is very close to my home, and since I'm moving my parents across the country, that was important to me. This staff is very welcoming and friendly. The layout of the large lobby and the sort of physical layout of the public spaces would appeal to my mother. We were very impressed with them; In researching the memory care portion, we were very pleased by how much they wanted my father, who did not have dementia, to be part of her care in the memory care area. They wanted him to come to visit and be an active partner. That was very important for us.
The rooms are very similar actually to the facility that they are moving from. So that was also appealing, that the layout was similar. The finishes were refreshed, there were no stains; it's nicely finished, and pleasant layout.
Everything looks fantastic. We have visited several times. I've been to the facility now; I think three times and every time the outdoor patios are swept and clean and the interior surfaces are freshly vacuumed, and it all looks very nice.

I visited Rockville Terrace Senior Living yesterday. It seemed like a very comfortable community. It had everything to offer that we needed. The staff was great. However, they had no idea I was going to come for the tour even though I received confirmation via email and text that I had an appointment. When I showed up, they were surprised and did not have me scheduled. The staff was fine and she did the tour anyway, but that wasn't her job. The gal that typically does the tours doesn't do tours on weekends, so that was a little bit of a surprise, but they accommodated me, so that was good. They had a couple of courtyards, a library, a theater, a common room if you wanted to have parties for your loved one, and a little cafe. The unit was a dorm-style room with a kitchenette.

I went to Rockville Terrace Senior Living and was supposed to see their independent living, but they did not have that. I didn't realize that they were an assisted living, therefore, their price range was completely out of my price range, but the facility was absolutely gorgeous, beautiful, very nice, and very neat. The rooms were huge and everything was new and clean.
The gal who took us around was really, really a good spokesman for the community. She pointed out the juice bars, the coffee bars, the ice cream place, the dining room, and that sort of thing. We only looked at two of the rooms, because when she told me how much they were, I told her that there was no need for me to go anywhere else in the facility to check it out or anything like that because I could not afford it.

My mother lived in Rockville Terrace in their assisted living and we liked it. They have memory care as well. It's a really good place. They had lots of activities and one activity person who was there all day long in the activity room. My mom was on the second floor but she couldn't do long walks, but if she was interested in an activity they would get her and bring her there. They would try to encourage her to participate in activities. The activity lady was wonderful. The food was really good, and they had a dining area. They would check on her every few hours. Her studio was great and it was big; the bathroom was big as well. The staff was good.

My in-laws are now in the assisted part of Rockville Terrace. They like it there. I am impressed by it. It looks very nice and clean. My in-laws say the food is good. They also have a nice choice of what they eat. Cleanliness is great. Everything looks very nice. My in-laws' room is spacious and clean.
