My mother was a resident here until she peacefully passed. She was not an "easy" person. The care and patience shown by the care team Teddy, Flora, and Minu was remarkable. I would recommend that anyone with a loved one in need place your family member here. They are kind and generous and extended their kindness to all of our family. We will miss seeing them now that my mom has passed.

My mom is in Avalon Care Home. They are top-notch, and communication is excellent. They are very caring to my mom. My mom is doing better with them than when we were using a service to come to her house, so we can't say enough about how great they are. The people and all the workers that are there are very kind. There are no complaints whatsoever about them. They are more on the personal needs of their residents than having any organized activities. The food is all prepared in-house, so they are all home-cooked meals.

I went to Avalon and the girl that owned it had a lady and a man Flora and Ted were just lovely. It’s just like living in a home when I have my mom and dad here. They took care of us like we were one of their family. They were just marvelous. The people that run it were the sweetest people. Anybody that went I’m sure they would be treated the way I was, I was there for two full months, and it was nice. It just felt like at home again. The food was good and wholesome, and I got a nice glass of ice water. You felt at ease, and I had a nice room. I got to be a good friend with a retired teacher, we were about the same age, and we loved sit out in the front porch. The time that we were there, it was nice weather, and we sat out there two to three hours a day in the morning. It was nice and really like a home. I would recommend it. The price was wonderful. I paid $525, and I had a bath and shower twice a week. It’s clean, and the people that were running it were nice.
