Of all the facilities we've visited Sunny Hills is one of my favourite. Its a bit more expensive, but they really have a lot nice facilities. They provide assistance with their daily activities and have various of social and recreational activities for their residents. The only thing I didn't like about it is when they quote you the price, and then by the last minute they will say that they have an extra charge for this and that, which should've been told upfront. But overall I really like the place and will be my 1st choice.

My mother moved in during December 2007. Employee turnover is high. Breakfast is the best meal of the day. In May 2008 my mother had money stolen from her. Someone entered her room during meal time and took money out of her wallet. This facility uses keys, and they must have a few master keys. There is no way of knowing who entered the room. I would like to see a card-key system installed so a record could be kept of who enters rooms and when, but this idea met a brick wall. I found out on the internet that the buildings are for sale at 16 million dollars, and are in bankruptcy. When will they tell the tenants? Lots of staff turnover, but my mother does receive her medications properly. Lots of problems with laundry service, wrong linen and towels are returned, along with other peoples underwear. Kind of gross when you think about it.
