We just did a quick little tour at Oakmont of Santa Clarita. The rooms were very nice. It looks like a high-end facility. The atmosphere was very nice. Everybody you talk to (the residents) was very friendly and very nice. We'll probably at some point go back over there and maybe do lunch. The people who gave us the tour were exceptional and the facility was exceptional. The rooms were very large. The surroundings were very nice. They had a nice courtyard and lots of trees.

Oakmont of Santa Clarita is out of our price range. That definitely is a luxury senior living facility. It's double the price of the other place we toured. So if you're going to move in there, you need to have money. The apartments were gorgeous; they were all beautiful because it's a brand-new facility. Everything is top notch because of the type of facility it is, and they have a lot of stuff going on. There's nothing you can compare it to; it's like a five-star hotel. We met a total of four people: the guy who gave us the tour, the executive director, the receptionist, and the guy who takes people on the bus. So they go on trips and whatnot. Their movie room was amazing; it's like walking into a theater. The staff we met were very friendly and very professional. I've seen the menu and it's all amazing. The facility itself is beautiful.

Oakmont of Santa Clarita was an excellent facility. They've got beautiful facilities including the dining room, apartments, library, restaurants, and the outdoor grounds. It's beautiful, and very well maintained. The staff was wonderful, very knowledgeable, and helped me to understand everything that the facility offered. The accommodations were more like apartments. They had offered to have my parents come and have a meal once they return to the States.

My father-in-law stayed at Oakmont of Santa Clarita. He was in hospice care there for three weeks. The caregivers were extremely attentive and kind. The food was excellent. There were activities like movies and yoga.

My husband and I have recently visited assisted living facilities with the intention of finding the right place for our parents. Oakmont of Santa Clarita is by far the best. The facility itself is clean and inviting. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of working with Mary to find the right option of assisted living for our parents. We are extremely grateful for all of her guidance throughout this life changing process. We strongly recommend Oakmont; the apartments are larger than in any other facility. They offer a large variety of services to include medication management, and care for diabetic patients. No other place in the area provides help with insulin administration but they do, and they have a doctor onsite which is fantastic. The amenities in this place are luxurious. If you want to retire with style consider this place.

I visited this facility in May of 2018. Mary was a consummate host and gave a thorough tour of the grounds and rooms as I'm doing my due diligence in researching a possible facility for my very mobile parents. The place was immaculate and all staff extremely friendly. In many ways reminded me of cruise ship trips: There are many things for the residents to do; trips, gaming, activities, and such. I really appreciated they have raised garden areas for those inclined to have their own gardens still! Also reminding me of cruising is the menu...items available everyday plus 3 or more "chef's special" items each meal. The rooms were very nice...sitting areas large and separate from bedrooms, plus a kitchenette so folks can still have their own coffee and make small things. Finally, I truly can appreciate they have pendants/life alerts that are motion sensitive... meaning they detect a fall and notify staff. Many facilities may have something like this, but not fall detection. The bottom line here is yes, it's expensive, but you do get what you pay for here. I plan on returning with my folks for a visit soon to see if they would consider living here.

Oakmont of Santa Clarita is brand new and closer to my home, but it’s just too much; dad couldn’t afford to do it. It’s a 5 star hotel; it’s absolutely gorgeous. I wish we have thousands of money every month. They gave me the tour, it was very thorough, and she followed up, called, and sent a thank you letter to me. There were also no vacancies at this point in time.

Oakmont of Santa Clarita was beautiful and lovely, although it's very costly. The facilities and amenities were absolutely beautiful, lovely, and great. It was just very expensive. It's new, and everything's crisp and clean. The view is beautiful and nice. The rooms were a little bit bigger, and they were nice and beautiful. The only drawback was the price.

Oakmont of Santa Clarita is more of a community and less of an institution. The dining area is big and open -- inside or outside -- and the food is very good. They mix the food up a bit, so it's not always the same thing. The rooms are big. They do go places in their company limo and company bus. The staff was extremely helpful.

My experience with Oakmont of Santa Clarita was terrific. The apartments were beautiful. They were small, but they were very nice. The staff was very knowledgeable, very friendly, upbeat and a pleasure to talk to. Their dining area was very nice. It was like a restaurant. They had different choices and different menu. It was opened all day for eating at whatever time. It was only the expense that was a problem there, but it was probably worth it. They had activities for the residents onsite and offsite. They had a little gym.

Oakmont was a newer facility but expensive. They offered three meals, social activities, and a little bus service that would take you shopping or on day trips.

My mother has lived at Oakmont since February, just a few weeks after it opened. We love this facility. Physically, it resembles a lovely hotel. The beautiful decor, the flowering gardens, and the amenities offered make for a cheery, positive atmosphere. The staff at Oakmont is wonderful. They are friendly, upbeat, capable, and professional, They genuinely care about the residents and go above and beyond to accommodate and help. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the administrative staff, the secretaries, the care givers, the dining staff, and the maintenance crew. Oakmont offers daily activities, on and off site, and they try to accommodate all different interests and physical abilities. My mother, who still drives, rarely does anymore, because everything she needs and wants is right there at Oakmont. She is happy. That makes me happy. I would strongly recommend Oakmont.

I am very happy with the care my mother is receiving at Oakmont of Santa Clarita. The staff are all kind and efficient and most of all caring. They call her by name when they see her and I don’t worry about her being alone anymore. It is kept clean and well-maintained. Mom is happy the food is wonderful!

The facility is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and the food is the best in town (better than the local restaurants). They focus on the assisted living residents – with many activities and excursions. I would highly recommend it.

Oakmont is brand new and absolutely gorgeous. They planted trees, but they were not grown yet. We had lunch, and I was not impressed with it, but we talked to the chef who was from South Africa. They have studios, to places almost like homes. Margie was delightful, very sweet, and was able to show us several rooms. They had an exercise room, a massage therapist, visiting doctors, and an office. They had a brunch on the first Sunday of the month.

Oakmont of Santa Clara was spectacular, but I think it’s a little bit too big for Mom. If I am old enough, I'd move in. They had a lot of activities, like tai chi in wheelchairs. They also had entertainers on Sunday. They allow pets, which is a big thing for elderly people. It’s a new facility, so it’s beautiful. They do daytrips to the city, which is really good. The menu that I saw looked fabulous and had something for everybody.

Oakmont provides a high level of care and service to my grandfather. All of the staff is very well trained and seem to enjoy their jobs. The food is great, they are always going on outings and have a lot for the residents.

The Oakmont of Santa Clarita is obviously the top of the line if you can afford it. We visited for my mother. The rooms are very nice. Everything is brand new and very luxurious. They have beautiful dining areas and a lot of activities planned in a beautiful, huge activity room. There was a beautiful theater with big comfortable chairs and gorgeous grounds. The staff members were very accommodating, very nice, and gracious.
