I've seen Segovia at Palm Desert and it was very nice. I was visiting my great uncle there, and it's really a fabulous place. He was in the assisted living unit, and the place was literally like a country club. The food was excellent. I've had meals there several times. It was almost like going to a very nice restaurant. It was very, very close to that.
They had a workout facility, a series of mailboxes inside (so that you didn't have to go out front to get your mail), on-call services for anything that you needed or wanted, movie nights, and events going on all the time. They also had a private room where you could have individual parties and a bar area that wasn't open all the time, but it could be open for different events.
They had the best staff I've ever seen. They were like people in a hotel. If I came in to visit my great uncle, there was a process where I would have to sign in. They would give him a call and say that someone was here, just to make sure there's no stranger wandering and asking for somebody. I just liked everything about it. It's the gold standard.
