I toured Cypress Place Assisted Living. The community seemed vibrant and very much focused on being appropriate for each individual, but it's not a sort of boot camp approach. It was very relaxed and very care centered, which I was happy to see. They certainly check to make sure that we had vaccines and that we had a negative test result within the 72-hour window. They gave us surgical masks. I didn't see anything in particular about their cleaning practices or anything else. I'm sure they're OK and cautious.

My mother is in Cypress Place. It's good, the owner is nice, and she met us at the door and showed us around the home. The home is very clean; it's a newer home, like they have taken care of it. Well, it looks good. We might consider it if our needs change. The rooms are pretty large and freshly painted. They have a small backyard that you could go out to, and it's almost right next to a walking path. The residents go on the walking path from time to time. There's a big living room with a TV and a nice, big kitchen. The caretakers live in the home so that there's always someone available and awake at night to meet the needs of the residents.

Cypress Place Assisted Living was great. They were very informative. They have limited activities. Everyone I think was getting vaccinated their second time, but they still couldn't like touch cards or share cards. They had an empty room, which was fine. They were still delivering meals to the rooms, but they were soon going to open up the dining room.

We moved into Cypress Place Assisted Living in their assisted living and we're liking our stay very much. We also like our apartment, it has a bedroom, living room, a little kitchenette, and a bathroom. They had it all ready for us; they're just good. We are enjoying the food and we like the dining area because it's very nice. We get a menu every week saying what's served, and if we don't like that, we have a menu on the table that we can order from. We're very happy here.

We really liked Cypress Place. It was really nice, and we're happy with it. The gentleman who helped us, Mike, was pleasant and really good. The dining room was very nice. They were playing bingo and there were people sitting in the lounge area to relax.
