I visited Pacifica Senior Living Country Crest. They had a chef on site, which I really liked. They had breakfast at 8:00 a.m., lunch at 12:00 p.m., and dinner maybe at 5:00 p.m. But if somebody slept in late and still wanted breakfast, that would not be a problem. They could have a late breakfast that would be cooked for them. They order off of the menu, and they have other choices if they want. I was really impressed by that, and their facility is topnotch everything. They even had little balconies off of each room. For somebody that's an outdoor person like my sister, it's really important to have seating outside in your own little private area. So, if you have a visitor, you can get out of the room if you want, as well as freedom to walk around and everything. That's really important for people.
The room had a full kitchen. The air conditioning and heating are controlled at the room there. They have studios and one-bedrooms. Everything was great. They had the little outdoor section. They had a full beauty salon there, I think it was three days a week, and then by appointment when it was going to be on the weekends. They had laundry there that they do once a week. Housekeeping is once a week. Then, if they needed more housekeeping, that would be an extra charge or more points, the more the price is per month. If you were able to do your own laundry, there was a laundry facility there. It's very nice with folding tables and everything, and there was no charge for doing that. They even provide the soap and everything, which was wonderful. One room I was shown was right next to the laundry facility, but once you walked in the apartment, it was completely soundproof, so that's nice that it wouldn't be a noisy apartment.
I have not tried the food, and that's important for somebody living there to like what they're serving, and just serve good, healthy meals. The staff member who took me around was very friendly and very accommodating. She said if I had any questions, not to hesitate to call or come back in. They were above and beyond really, and very friendly. The price is just really high, but then everything is these days.

We found Pacifica Senior Living Country Crest for my in-laws. They were one of the cleanest places that we toured and truthfully when we walked in, the people that were there looked very kept and they were laughing and looking like they enjoyed it there. The apartments that they have there have full kitchens. The two biggest things for us were the full kitchen, which my mother-in-law wanted and the community of the residents. They have lots of activities. They were playing bingo, they had a table where they were playing cards, they had a group of women that were working on puzzles, and we saw where they have painting classes. They have a family dining room, and they allow families to stay with the resident there in their apartment. It was very clean and I like the fact that they took their time with us. We came with a lot of questions and I never felt rushed and I felt very comfortable there.

The staff here provides loving care with smiles on their faces. Recently, my mother’s declining health necessitated increased nursing care. They have done a wonderful job and go above and beyond to make my mom comfortable while helping her retain her dignity. This has enabled her to stay in her own apartment which was her desire.
There is a real family atmosphere at this place among both residents and staff. The staff go out of their way to learn everyone’s name and greet them as they’re out and about. It is such a blessing to have my mom here.

My mom moved into Pacifica Senior Living Country Crest. I liked the rating system they have there. Their prices are kind of comparable but a little bit less. The food is really good, and my mom likes the food there. They have balconies where people can go and look out if they feel comfortable doing that. It's kind of in the foothills, but it's not very far from town. It's kind of close to shopping and conveniences. They also have transportation. They take people on outings and out into the community, they go shopping and stuff, and they give people a chance to feel more at home and more relaxed.

My uncle became a resident at the facility after his house burned down in the Paradise fire. I flew out from Florida to find him a place to live and was fortunate to find Pacifica. It was perfect for him. I feel secure that he is cared for, yet he can still maintain his independence. The facility was great in the care of protecting the residents during the pandemic. Thank you so much!

Living in South Dakota searching for a place for my parents proved to be challenging. Until I found Irene at Pacifca. Almost immediately I felt a weight off my shoulders. She has been so helpful and is knowledgeable. Irene was able to put me in touch with resources I didn’t know existed!
A big thank you to Irene and all of the staff at Pacifca

I've been here almost 4 years and I find it better than expected. It's a great place to live. I've found a home here.
I love my apartment - I'ts special.. I enjoy showing my room as it is a art gallery.
My relationship with the staff seems to be pretty good.
I enjoy all the activities we have -- more than I expected.
I enjoy teaching 4 exercise classes a week.
I like to stay busy.

Pacifica Senior Living Country Crest was very nice, immaculate, pretty, and beautiful. The view is the best out of all the ones we visited. Irene and Patricia, the people who gave us the tour, were both very nice people. We ate there once, and the food was good. The dining area was also good. There were a lot of things to do there.

I live out of state and I was very nervous about my parents moving into an assisted living facility but after spending a week with my parents helping them get settled in I am very well pleased. I stayed at the facility with my parents and I got a very upfront experience with the staff and routines. Everyone was very responsive to our needs and helped us navigate through a very sticky situation. With Patricia and Sharon there I am very confident that my parents are in a very caring and clean facility. The food is outstanding, I ate almost every meal there for a week.

The entire staff has been extremely helpful with this transition for my father. Any questions I have asked of the staff (Wendy, Sharon, Patricia, Cindy, Casey, Vanessa and Jamie) have been answered quickly and professionally. I would highly recommend Pacifica to others who are in need of a senior living facility.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I came to Pacifica Senior Living Country Crest over 2 years ago. It has been and is still a wonderful place to live, better then expected. It is kept very clean. The food is GOOD. The staff are pleasant and helpful. I am very active and I appreciate I am able to run two of the resident exercise classes. The best part is it is run very well by a bunch of great women.

Pacifica Senior Living Country Crest is one of the best places I have seen. It is a nice place and everybody seems to be really nice. Mom has a really nice and big room. We brought her own furniture. It has a walk-in closet and a balcony that has plexiglass on it, so she can't fall out. She shares the bathroom, though. They come and get her for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, do her laundry twice a week, and make sure she gets her shower. They have different activities such as trips to restaurants, bingo, card games, and people coming in to play the piano or to sing. Yesterday, they were making snowman in the memory care unit. They have a hair salon and are located in a very nice area. Their price is very affordable.

We visited Pacifica two or three times, but the price was high. They take them out to Reno and play Bingo and some tennis. They have a swimming pool. Residents seemed to lose track of the outside world, and at my age, I don't like that. They served a very good lunch of sandwiches and soup.

We're happy and set up to go to Pacifica Senior Living Country Crest in a ground floor apartment. They have a five-star restaurant. I had been up there before and heard nothing but good reports about it. Nobody ever has any complaints about it and said how good the food is and how well the people treat you there. The lady that set us up has been wonderful and bought some of the things that we had for sale. It's really worked out well. They have birthday parties and different things all throughout the month. I met their nice driver who's been there for 12 years and takes them to doctors' appointments and to outside activities during the week. Almost all of their people have been there for a long time. Everybody is cordial. They have coffee in the main lobby all the time and make popcorn and have cookies. They have tables where people can play games and cards or just sit and talk. They're building their restaurant up on the second floor and a patio outside with umbrellas so you can eat out there if you want to. They change the menu quite often. You don't have to pick what you want to eat way ahead of time; you just go down like you would to a restaurant and order what you want then. I'm looking forward to that because I do not cook anymore.

We found Pacifica Senior Living Country Crest. Basically, we chose it because we could get a bigger unit for the same or less amount of money and it was the place my mother had always said she wanted to go to when and if it became necessary. I have nothing against the other facilities; this one just had more to offer for the same price and she has some friends there, so that made our choice easy. Our overall experience with it has been great. Regarding the room, the combination that my mother has is wonderful. It is a one-bedroom unit with a bath and a half, a full kitchen, a den, and a little terrace, which is very nice. They have activities planned everyday; however, my mom has only been there for four weeks, so I'm not sure if she has really taken advantage of them. I do know they take them shopping to Visitor Center, which is at the Oroville Dam (where there is a museum). They take them out to dinner to certain places. However, I have only seen these posted on the board. I have eaten with my mother in the dining hall, which is also quite nice and quite good, and the menu offered a great variety of food. Overall, what I like about Pacifica Senior Living is that my mom is happy there.
