I took my sister to Garden Crest Assisted Living Facility. It came highly recommended by two different friends who had stayed there and they had a high regard for it. It looked clean, and it was well run, but physically seeing what it would be like to live with strangers was what persuaded my sister that she preferred to live in a crowded household with teenage kids. The tour was very good and very helpful, and the place looked good. There's a nursing element to it and an assisted living element to it. They were very kind. They arranged for us to park close to the front door, so my sister didn't have to walk a long distance. They were very informative and very kind. We had to walk through the nursing area in order to go to the assisted living area. The room had a bed, a dresser, a chair, and a small table, and they said they were willing to receive other furniture if they could accommodate them in terms of the availability of the room.
