The Fountains at Sea Bluffs was beautiful. The person who gave us a tour was very nice, very informative, and spent a lot of time with me. I was just off the cuff and made the phone call and they were able to accommodate me immediately. The dining room was also beautiful. The food looked nice and smelled great because I was there when they were doing a big snack thing and it was nice.

The Fountains is very clean, and the caregivers are all nice. They sit 24 hours at night, and you don't have to worry because if somebody gets up, they have the censors in the room. That was one of the problems I had because my husband would get up at night, so this was the solution. They keep them active during the day, so you're tired and sleeping better. They don't keep them in their rooms; they keep them in the front part doing things. They have exercises and a lot of music, people that come in and sing, and outings to the harbor. Every day, they give you a calendar, and it changes all the time. They have a lot of things because they try to keep the residents active. Their dining room is nice where they have small tables of four. It isn't like a big table with real table cloth and all the plastic and stuff; it is classy, and the place is nice. They have a one-bedroom, which are more expensive, with individual rooms and bathrooms. He has one that is like a little apartment, and then there is going to be another fellow in this room, but he has his own room, and they share a bathroom and a closet. For me, it was a little less expensive, so I decided on that, but you can have different types of accommodations. It was recommended by my daughters, and as a matter of fact, my sister said, "The only place you can put him in is the Fountains." I know people that had their husbands there, and they are given very good care.

The Fountains at Sea Bluffs had a lot of outdoor areas and patios, and it's got an indoor pool. It felt like it was its own little village within itself instead of being a big apartment building. The staff during the tour were lovely and quite informative. They were a little cost prohibitive when you go up the higher levels of care.

The Fountains at Dana Point was another one we looked at during our search. It is beautiful and very high end. They are very independent living. Even in their assisted living, it seemed that people were very independent. They have a swimming pool that mother would have loved. But she decided that the swimming pool was not as important to her as the rest of the community. This facility is more expensive and very sophisticated.

The Fountains was excellent. It was probably our second choice. I loved that place, and it was beautiful. It was only seven minutes from my house, and my mom wanted to be close to me. They also have assisted living and memory care. The staff was fine. They were very helpful, and I had no problems with them. The rooms were very nice and very clean. There was no odor. I'm pretty sure they had an activity room, and they had activities for the residents to do. For memory care residents, I think they need to have a lot of stimulation, and I think they had that also. It could have gone the either way, but I just decided to go to the other one.

We live in a retirement community. We are at the Fountains. We've been here for 10 years. We looked around at many other places, and this is the one we liked the most. This is a very friendly place. The problem is they're extremely expensive, and they keep raising the price every year. I have an apartment. It's a 2-bedroom condo with 2 bathrooms. We have a main dining room. I own the place. We have a lot of activities. We have exercises, lecturers, and entertainers. The utilities and the maid service are all included in the monthly fee.

I visited the Fountains and the facility is beautiful. The food is excellent. From what I saw apparently they have lot of activities posted on their board. I like the location, it's fantastic. The facility is fairly new. The decorations are outstanding and it got a very warm and happy atmosphere.

This is a professionally run and maintained facility. Whenever my dad touches the button on his wrist a caregiver seems to come out of nowhere within a minutes time. The meals are nutritional and served elegantly at the dining room which has a wonderful view of the ocean. The residence is a bit pricey but you get what you pay for.
