Sunrise of Burlingame was well-organized. It had nice architecture. It was a good size. However, I'm not sure it is the best place for my mom. The site itself was very, very good. The staff was all good. It's very positive. They have the meeting rooms and the gathering rooms. What my mom cares most about is a social life, so the dining rooms and the areas where people are convening to play games or watch movies were all quite good.

My father is in Sunrise of Burlingame. The staff has been very caring and responsive to the pandemic. There have been very few cases reported of the virus, which is remarkable considering what I hear about other assisted living situations. They are very responsive to family feedback and willing to accommodate the special needs of the residents. He wasn't ordering the right type of food to eat, so they are working with us to accommodate where we can help order his food. They help manage his medicines and keep the family up-to-date on his progress. It's one of the few assisted living places that has skilled nurses that can help administer medicine.

Sunrise of Burlingame was a nice community. I spent a nice afternoon with the staff, which was very nice. They took me around. They had just remodeled the place. They're doing more work on it. I saw both the assisted living and memory care. If Mom would be in assisted living, she can only be on the second floor because that was the only accommodation they had for her condition. However, that might not work for her because she had to be on the first floor. Everything was on the first floor. First floor would have been easier for my mom with her condition. Nevertheless, their apartments were very nice. The dining room was very nice. The staff was honest and spent a lot of time with me.

We went to Sunrise of Burlingame. It was very clean, very nice decor, and I think the rooms were a tad larger. They had option to go into the walk-in bathtub and a whirlpool bathtub for the patients, and its also therapeutic and its heated up. The staff was really nice and very accommodating. They had Bingo and movies. It was a really good place.

Sunrise of Burlingame was brand new, and mom was one of the first residents who lived there, but they had some problems because they lost a lot of their staff as soon as they opened. Physically, it was lovely, and they had very nice rooms and facilities. The staff was good, but management was not.

We went to Sunrise, which I thought was phenomenal. The lady who assisted us was very informative. It was very clean, and the grounds were beautiful. There was a salon, a game room, a TV room, and a joint kitchen as well as their full-service dining room. There were lots of sitting areas, so people could get out of their rooms. The patient we were working with is 44 years old and very resistant to living in a home for older people. Nevertheless, Sunrise was kind enough to offer to even get the state's permission to take a younger patient because he is quadriplegic and had no home to go to.

Sunrise of Burlingame seems very nice to me, and it’s a beautiful facility. The thing that bothered me is that they were so vague as to what the pricing would be until they’re actually in there. There were a lot of unknowns for my mother. I thought the staff was very professional, and I was very impressed with the place. We saw some activities. There was a group playing bingo and a group of people down in the lobby for trivia. From my observation of being there a short time, I thought it looked very nice. It is the one I was most impressed with.

We moved my mother to Sunrise of Burlingame into a brand-new two-room suite. It's light and airy, and we chose it because they had a floor that's between independent and assisted. The sales director should have come through with all her promises, however, so that we would have given it a higher rating.

My uncle is in Sunrise. It’s beautifully appointed, and the staff is most solicitous of the residents. The atmosphere is friendly, and my uncle is very satisfied. We are impressed with the cheerfulness of the staff. The food is good, and the dining area is set up like a first-class restaurant.

The staff at Sunrise of Burlingame was not very friendly and not very accommodating. It almost felt like it was an imposition going there just to see it. That was off-putting. My mother and I both got the impression that they were going to have a difficult time getting that place filled up because they were not welcoming. It had been opened a month from when we went there. The management should be more welcoming and friendlier or even pretend like they'd like to show you the place. It was like an inconvenience to them. The place was alright, not exactly homey, but the décor was nice.

Sunrise of Burlingame is clean. I'm impressed with them. They seem to care for the residents and have done a good job so far. They have a restaurant where three meals a day are served. The food seems good. There is a fixed menu, but you can also get sandwiches, eggs, and things, if you so choose. They have a TV lounge and a general lounge area as well. They have a lovely outside yard, which is quite nice. The rooms are fine, of decent size. They accommodate the bed, chairs, television, and other furniture. The staff check on him and has been very good in giving my ex-husband his medications, bathing him, and upholding his general well-being. They are very attentive if the person needs a lot of assistance. They are very nice people.

Sunrise of Burlingame seems fine. It’s a brand-new place, so everything was very fresh and clean. It has a nice, open environment, and it seemed like they have activities.
