Especially You is very welcoming, very clean, and homey. Grandma's room is also homey and comfortable. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. They offer a variety of activities throughout the week. I've seen the calendar up on a whiteboard in the hallway, and I think they have somebody come in and play music, and they do coloring, too. The dining area is very nice. It's a large room with multiple chairs and tables in it. It's like a family setting and they are very open to what grandma likes. They make sure that they have what she likes on hand.

I chose Especially You Assisted Living for my mom because it is small, personal and home like. It doesn't feel like an institution. The rooms are mostly double occupancy and it is spacious enough. They have their own bathroom. They have a living area with TV and a dining room. It is very much like a very large house. I also like the people there. They are very good. The problems that I had, I've been able to approach them and talk with them and change whatever they are doing or attended to whatever my concerns were. They had activities but I am not familiar with them because my mother also goes to adult day care where they had activities every day of the week. So, she is not involved in the activities in the home.
