About This Community
We are a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, public benefit corporation, established in 1963, licensed under the State of California as a Multi-level Care Facility for older adults. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors whose number one goal is to satisfy the needs of the residents.
We have many levels of care available to meet the needs of the seniors. It is a continuum of care; from independent living, all the way to skilled nursing care.
We have experienced staff at every level and can offer enhanced care due to the teamwork approach. When you become a resident of the Bethany family, you receive top priority for entrance into the higher levels of care when needed. We are a stand-alone organization, with only one location in Ripon, CA.

I have almost 20 years of experience dealing with assisted living facilities and this one is top notch. I never left with the feeling that the staff didn't care and they always went out of their way to answer any questions and keep us updated on my grandmothers status. I visited twice a day for a year and never found any of the staff to be anything but pleasant and helpful. Any time changes in diet were necessary, the staff was completely accomidating. The activities in the facility defininately brightened her spirit and made the entire experience very pleasant. I was impressed most with a staff, from the Administrator to the housekeepers, there was not a single person that wasn't friendly and engaging, and always ready to make sure our experience was A+. The facility itself is set in very nice surroundings and offers a very "at home" experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The staff all seemed very helpful for my grandmother. I like that meals are available but not necessary, giving the residents a lot of choices and freedom when it comes to meal time. For those that are more independent and capable, they can cook within their own residence. My only qualm with the facility was that they did not have extra storage outside of the individual unit. My grandmother moved from her house in Stockton to this place, and had to sell the majority of her things before she could move in because there was not a place to put everything! Overall, a nice and clean facility with some great amenities (including a computer room and classes!), I would recommend.
