Dad is at Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead. We chose this community because it was small, very cozy, and personalized. So, it didn't feel like a number. You feel more like a part of a family. It's gorgeous and clean as can be. It's beautiful, bright, and sunny. We looked at probably eight or nine assisted living places before we chose this one and it's the nicest of all.
The food is excellent. Dad loves it. We ate there, too, and the food is fresh and good. There are many choices and if we don't like what they're serving, they'll make whatever you feel like eating. They're very accommodating. Every day they have something new. They either do movie nights, crafts, community get-togethers, they bring people in for shows, or they take you out if you want to go out. Their activity director is young, wonderful, and vivacious. I would live there myself. It's the neatest, most up-to-date, well-decorated, and well-maintained place.

I've tried the food at Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead and it was a 5. Gorgeous upkeep. I would rate the activities a 5; however, they did not have a pool and I do a lot of swimming. It's an excellent facility, and the staff was great.

My mother moved into Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead. I liked the fact that there was a big garden area, because my mom likes to be outside. I liked the layout. It was only two stories, and it was pretty much a rectangular building, so I figured she wouldn't get too confused. The price was better than the others. I liked the management there, the way they talked, and how they welcomed her. I also liked the fact that they are taking reasonable precautions for COVID, but not ridiculous precautions. This is her fifth day, so it's kind of hard to tell how the staff is. The food is not so good, and right now, there are really no activities, but that's because of COVID.
