Apartments are nice, grounds are nice, food is good, but the office staff are terrible. Dealing with the staff has been a nightmare.

I visited Fellowship Square in Tucson. The rooms were good. The only downside is that you'd have to walk across the parking lot because the dining area was quite a ways from some of the apartments. The woman that showed us around answered our questions, but she talked down about the other places. It just wasn't a very comfortable atmosphere. The food we had was OK, but a bit salty, and the dining room was very dark.

Fellowship Square Tucson is very nice, with very nice, redone suites. They also have small apartments.

My mother was at Fellowship Square Tucson for at least five years. She started out in the unassisted living in her own apartment. They only had two levels of care there and can’t help with transferring. They’re not capable of that, so that’s why we had to move from there, but my mother was really happy over there. It is a very old place establishment, probably over 50 years old, but it is nice. They have pools, and the food was very good. Everybody was nice to my mom. They loved her, and she loved them. It was quite a traumatic event to have to leave Fellowship Square. They had been very good to my mother.

The rooms were quite adequate. Fellowship told me about their services and it sounded pretty good. We walked through a nice garden and went to a very wonderful gym. They have a very fancy restaurant and a bistro. I know some people living there and the staff seemed to be knowledgeable and caring. There is a church next to it too.

Fellowship Square is a nice place. We got a lot of extra care that’s provided. My mom is living there. The dining room is very nice. You can have the meals delivered if you can’t go to the dining room. The apartments are pretty nice, simple, and very spacious. They have exercise programs, movie nights, and games. They have their own small gym, a couple of swimming pools, and a spa. They have a sort of family gathering area for barbeques.

Fellowship Square was more affordable, but security wasn’t there. Their parking lots were not fenced in or guarded, and there was no security for an elderly going to walk out the building to the parking lot. It’s more like an old apartment complex that’s been made over for elderly care. They have to walk across the grounds to get a meal, and it’s not located in one building. They are charged like an a la carte thing; you are charged for every little thing you need. They have a swimming pool for residents to use. It’s in a part of town known to be dangerous.
