A Caring Manor II was very comfortable looking and homey. The family lives on one side. It was raining that day, so the home had an odor. They also had a leak in one of the bedrooms, but overall it looked like it would be a nice place. The person during the tour was very good. The dining area looked very clean, but we did not eat there. They had animals in the backyard and there seemed to be enough parking.

Mom was in A Caring Manor II for 11 days. She was in a private room with a bathroom outside the room because she didn’t want to have a roommate. The semi-private rooms have the bathroom right in there. There are only 4 people there, so it’s very small. Some of the residents are in wheelchairs. The hallways were fine and large enough. The people who provided care were very friendly and hospitable.

A Caring Manor II was one of our choices because of its nice home environment, it's smaller, and more intimate. It looks like somebody’s home when you walk in, and there is a nice living room area. The residents have rooms to the left of the living room area, and the kitchen would be to the right side of the family area. The rooms are very nice-sized; the kitchen is also nice-sized and bright with a walk out to their backyard. They had a lot of yard space, that I thought was really nice, all fenced in with goats, dogs, cats, birds, fruit trees, and grapes. My husband is relatively young, so the younger family seemed like it might be a better fit. I thought the staff was fabulous and very personal; they wanted to get to know us and seemed very confident. They’re private pay only, which would be my only negative on them.
