My mother-in-law is in Las Fuentes Resort Village. They have beautiful grounds, good food, and friendly people. They have monthly activities and group meetings. They have a courtyard and a patio. It's on lovely grounds with pine trees, and it's well-maintained. The facility smells nice when you go in. My mother-in-law hasn't complained about the food since she's been there. They have two dining areas: one for residents and one for when residents bring in the family. Both of them are very lovely. The facility is very pretty, and it's in a nice location. It's always clean and neat.

I went to Las Fuentes Resort Village three years ago to visit a friend of mine. He started in independent living, and had a nice living room there with a bedroom, a bathroom, and a little kitchenette. It would have been nice for two people, but too big for one. As he needed more assistance, he was put into assisted living. They gave him his medicine on time and provided him with meals. I met one person that came in on Wednesdays to change his beddings and stuff, and she was a nice person. They had a big, beautiful restaurant type of place where he could go and choose from a couple of different items each day. It was pretty nice. We ate lunch with them twice and even the staff people in the dining room were there constantly making sure I had everything that I needed, even if I was only a visitor. The food was served properly and tasted very good. They have fairly new buildings. At that time, they had an activity program going on in the great big room and it was impressive. The price was fair. So, he was happy there and I was happy visiting him as well.

Las Fuentes Resort Village was very nice. I called at the last minute, so I didn’t meet a lot of staff, but I met with the director. The rooms and apartments were very nice, 500 sq.ft. to 1000 sq.ft. in size. The residents were busy. The dining area looked nice and clean.

My aunt has been at Las Fuentes for about 20 years now. When she first moved in there, she had her own apartment, but now she has gradually gone to assisted care because of her Alzheimer?s. She can?t take care of herself, but it has been fine for her. The layout is fine. They have different kinds of activities for people organized through a nice activity director. However, for people with Alzheimer?s, they sort of push them aside and don?t do enough things with them even though they are paying good money to be there. It is a very expensive place.

Las Fuentes Resort Village has natural springs that water the gardens, which are beautiful. The rooms are lovely too. They are quite expensive though. The food is excellent there, but it is not part of the room rent. You can eat there if you want, or you can prepare your own meals in your room. The meals are not expensive -- it is more like fine dining -- but you don't have to pay the price that fine dining would cost.

My father is already in Las Fuentes, and so far he is doing fine. The rooms are really nice, the amenities are great, and they have a beautiful dining room. They have a monthly calendar of activities, and then they post everything in the elevator, so there are lots of activities all the time. There are a lot of happy residents that have been there for a while. There is a lot of longevity in some of those residents, so it is a nice place to be for them.

The Las Fuentes Resort Village is very attractive. It's large, and walking through the halls of the residents, it feels more like a condo. It reminded me of my mother's condo. The colors are pleasant, and it doesn't smell dirty or anything. I have not seen the dining room except on TV. I have not been in the apartment units. I have been in the convening room with groups of people who lived there. I know they have a lot of activities. One of my friends is teaching memoir writing classes there. If I make some money, I would go there myself twenty years from now. I haven't heard much about the actual care-giving. I know what the facility is like and I know that it's very popular with the community.

I felt that this facility was too high priced and it took Self Pay only from residents. The staff members seemed to be very boastful and full of "pride" - did not seen friendly as such, had an "above the general public" attitude. The residents seemed to be treated as if they were "lucky" to be there and should be grateful for any attention or assistance given to them. This I noticed in the dinning room for instance. A resident requested something additional to her meal only to be told briskly that what she had on her plate was what she was to have and to enjoy it as it was. No further interest in accomadating the resident nor even taking the time to "listen" to her. this was very rude and demeaning toward the resident. Although the facility was appealing in appearence and attractively decorated I did not feel a sense of warmth or caring in my observations.
