The thing that I like about Via Elegante is it's out in the middle of the desert or it seems to be, so there are natural plants and desert dirt between the various buildings. The part that I don't like is there's a main office and the community area building, and everybody is in smaller buildings. This model might put off people who want a bit more privacy.
Another thing was that I didn't get a sense that they really wanted me here. The guy didn't give me all the information as to all the costs; he didn't try very hard to get me interested in the place.

Upon touring this assisted living facility, we pulled up into a custom home site. The view from pulling up on the site was gorgeous. You can see the best view of the Catalina mountains as well as pretty sunsets. In this home, there were ten private suites. Each suite had it's own bathroom, patio door, closet, plasma television, bed, dresser, and table. Every room was very spacious and very clean. The staff was also incredibly sweet and make us feel very welcome. The home had a custom kitchen where each resident can request any kind of meal they want. A medical professional was on staff to just give out medications. The certified care technicians were also very nice. They showed us the game room where they do activities daily. As well as a movie room where residents can do any time of the day.
