It's been a very good experience at St Bernards Village. Maintenance is great, and the administration addresses needs. The meals are great. There's no real disadvantage living here. There are several activities. We have a very nice little apartment with two bedrooms, living room, and a kitchen. We also have one walk-in closet and other small closets. The grounds are kept up very well. It's not far from Walmart and several grocery stores and eating places.

In the beginning, my mother was in the independent living in St. Bernards Village for a couple of years and then I moved her to the other part which was the assisted living part. The independent living had one dining room and the assisted living had one dining room. Once in a while they got together for activities in the largest dining room. It was furnished beautifully. Although the food was nothing to write all about, it was tolerable sometimes. The staff was very nice.

My experience with St Bernards Village with my mom being a resident in this place for 8 years is excellent. The staff and the leadership provided to the employees and residents is excellent. Their rooms are safe, beautiful, clean, and large; overall, it’s excellent. Their food is good. It’s hot and fresh, and they seemed to have a concern about the feedback from the community as well as their dietician is top notch.

My siblings and I have been very pleased with this facility. Our mother really enjoys her life there. She has made many friends through activities. She also compliments the staff as efficient and caring. There are many activities such as cards, bingo, special entertainment and weekly bus transportation to pharmacy and Walmart. Important to us, she feel safe and secure. One of the best decisions mother and our family ever made.

I visited St Bernards Village, and it was a beautiful facility. They had assisted living and cottages that you could buy, and then, they could move you over to their skilled area across the city. They had bingo. They had little trips, and they took them out to restaurants and to shop. I would recommend them to others.

The facility seemed to be a friendly environment for the citizens. The front gate was well-guarded with security. The staff and nurses appeared to be friendly and helpful. There were plenty of activities available to the members of the society including exercises, libraries, shuttle runs and movie nights. There was an easily accessible church in the front gathering room. The walls were lined with very colorful art that made the place seem very homely. The members seemed happy with their environment. There was even a guest house for visiting guests. We didn't stay the night so we didn't get to see the guest house, but from outside it seemed exquisite. I would definitely recommend any senior citizens for this home and would even consider going there myself later on in life!

The first thing one notices is how beatifully the grounds and landscaping are maintained. Then, the planning that has gone into the facility, both by the architect and the management. Even though one may not need disability accessible facilities, all of the facilities are designed for access by equipment needed to assist those with disabilities. All the residents appear to like to live here. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are always activities both on and off premisis. The place is lovely and so are the people. Its hard to cook for the masses but the only complaints I haer there is about the food. The residents would be appreciative of some steamed cabbage ,carrots and onions ...which is healthy and enexpensive.Instead they give greasy veggiesthat were frozen or out of a can. They often serve 2 red meats at one meal service.Thay seem to create thier menus with out considering the fact that they are cooking for the eldery. Most of the food they offer has a high salt ,fat and sugar content. When they should be serving roast turkey or chickens and baked fish.Other than that the place is great

This assisted living village treats each individual person with care and respect. They make sure that you are ok if you don't show up for a meal or game time, church etc.
I would choose this one if I ever have to go to an assisted living place.
I want to be in a place where the people care about you.
