I liked everything about Village on the Park Rogers. I would consider putting my dad there. Their rooms were a little bit bigger. I liked that. The layout was larger. They had two or three courtyards. They had another one outside for families. All the stuff was similar to the other place, but maybe a little bit better. They had the courtyards, the TV rooms, and the game room. They actually had a therapy room, too. It was a therapy room for outside therapists to come and work in. Everything was really clean.

Village on the Park Rogers was beautiful, it was awesome. It was clean, their staff was friendly, and they had a lot of options. It felt welcoming. The rooms were good, I saw a few different rooms. They were spacious for one person. The staff who gave me the tour is caring and very welcoming. The dining area was kind of like a fancy restaurant. It was set up with tables, chairs, and menus where they can order off the menu. They get certain selections every day, what they have for each day. They choose and pick, and a table service brings it to the folks, or they could have it delivered to their rooms. They have their own movie theater. They show movies at certain times of the week, and they have outings. They've got card games, puzzles, and stuff like that. They've got an exercise group that meets at certain times, and they've got an exercise room that they can go use if they're capable of going on their own. Also, they have outings where they go shopping because they have their own little kitchen, and they can bring their own microwave and stuff like that. Their rooms are not furnished, so you have to bring your own furniture. The facility was immaculate, it was like going into a fancy place.

My mother is at the Village on the Park Rogers. They have a lot of activities, and it's a beautiful facility. The people there, so far, have been outstanding. I would absolutely trust my mother with them. The whole facility is quite nice. The rooms are nice, and there's a variety. What I saw was very good. I didn't have meals there or anything, but it looked and smelled good. You have a choice instead of, "here's what you get." The value for money is good. You get what you pay for. They have devotionals, a Sunday service, a rather large library, a beautiful main area with a gas fireplace, and several outdoor areas. It's really good. They have inhouse rehab, which is important to her recovery.

The Village on the Park Rogers was good. I don't have any complaints. I just think the other place's staff was above and beyond amazing, so they're hard to beat. The Village did very well though. They're nice and clean. The staff was also personable. The food was pretty good, and I actually liked it better than the other place. It's very nice, a little upscale, and very clean. The staff was great during the tour. They answered all of our questions. I just think that they act a little more like they're from a nicer place. They're a little stuffier there, but not in a way that's not personable. Maybe the people in the other place just seem homier. I liked that there's a little bit of variety to the food. If you didn't want something that they were offering, they had so many other choices. I like that. You're not going to make everybody happy with one plate, and I love that they know that and accommodate them.

We chose Village on the Park Rogers for my uncle because the staff was very receptive and engaging. The food was excellent and the chef even came out and talked to us. They did a really good job with the food. The facility is new, very clean, and spacious. They have a movie theater, lots of activities, a salon, four different little garden areas, a nice big open fireplace and sitting area, and a happy hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the residents. It's very neat.

My mother moved into Village on the Park Rogers last May. Everybody was very friendly, everything was nice and clean, and they seemed to care about the people. They seemed to be great. We went together a couple of times, and she was hurrying us up to get back there so she could go eat. She was in a hurry to get back there for dinner.

My mom moved into the Village on the Park Rogers. The COVID thing has impacted a lot, but they used to have a lot for the residents to do and the staff is very good in encouraging her to go to the dining hall. She doesn't like that they check on her frequently, and she complains about the food since the lockdown happened. Aside from that, we've been really happy. It's just that we can't go in there and she can't go anywhere. They would do exercises, worship services, bingo a couple times a week, they have a theater that the residents can use, and they also play dominoes. They also go on excursions to different places. They could improve on the food, and the cost is pretty high. She had some complaints, but overall I still think that it's a good place to have your loved one.

We visited Village on the Park Rogers. The price was rather high, but the people were absolutely kind. We met the nurse, housekeeping, and other staff members walking down the hallway; they were very kind and considerate. It was very clean. They offer a dining room experience, like you order off a menu in a restaurant. They allow pets if you're able to take care of them. I was overall really impressed. It was a newer facility, and it was a gated community as well.

My aunt has moved into Village on the Park Rogers. It is great. It is nice, clean, and it is really good. I like the staff members. They deliver her medicines to her on time and they're also responsive. If she needs a nurse, she just tells them and the nurse is there within a few minutes. They're great and they have a doctor that will take care of her. Also my aunt has her cat with her. They have a movie theater and a library; they have bingo, dominoes, and outside trips to Wal-mart and restaurants, they have people come in and put on music shows, and they have exercise classes. She likes the food a lot; it is pretty good. Village on the Park Rogers is probably one of the most expensive ones in the area, but they're probably the best. They're good.

Village on the Park Rogers' assisted living seemed a little less personal than the other place I visited, but it was good. The place was nice and a little larger. The staff was friendly and professional. The rooms were nice and clean. The dining room was also nice, clean, and seemed organized. It was an open sitting area.

My mother resides in Elijah's Place which is the memory care. The staff back here are really sweet and caring. They treat her like their own family. It's a smaller unit but I think that is a good thing for her. She enjoys the music therapist and exercise. I travel a lot so it is important that she is here with people I trust. I honestly couldn't ask for a better place for my mother.

Beautiful facility but the food is terrible. It started out good, but they cannot keep good people in the kitchen and the food has progressively been in decline. The residents and families have complained, but nothing has been done to improve the situation. Lack of leadership?

Mt Carmel is a wonderful facility. Activities are fun and plentiful, food is good and staff are very kind. I don't know what previous poster is talking about. I have been in other facilities and Mt Carmel is by far the best around. Couldn't ask for a better place for my parents.

Beautiful facility however it lacks leadership. They are VERY weak with activities and don't seem to want to fix their problem and create fun, new exciting activities for the residents. Also, they started out with great food and a good chef but since their opening that has gone down hill as well with lackluster food and having food available that is on the menu. Also, they hire inexperienced help with little training and the staff is not very attentive to the residents. This place needs major improvements. So sad to see such a beautiful facility with such a lackluster staff.

Mt. Carmel was fine, pleasant to walk in, and didn't smell. I had a tour of the assisted living, but I was not ready for that yet. They had cottages that were attractive from the outside, but they were all occupied, so I didn't see what was inside. However, the floor plans that I saw looked good. They offered three meals, and the staff was nice.

Mt. Carmel Community is new and beautiful. They have the building with assisted living and cottages with less care. I was disappointed with the size of the rooms because it's for me and my husband, and I just don't want to be denned up in a room like that. The menu was very enticing. The staff is very friendly and helpful with information, and the facility is beautiful.

For anyone that needs assisted living, Mt Carmel Community is a very awesome place. The rooms had a small kitchen area with a refrigerator, a living area where you can put a couch and a TV, a closet, and a bathroom with a walk-in shower with a bench. It was very nice.
