Being an executive in the healthcare industry, I had hoped for a good experience from Senior Life as I heard such good things. My mother was a candidate and over the course of a month she was told repeatedly by the program Director Emily that she was approved and how this program would change her life. I then attended a meeting with Emily and Dr. Eubanks who echoed these statements and gave my mother great hope in overcoming her ailments. The actual words were spoken that she was a 100% guarantee for this program and there would be no issues. We spent 2 hours discussing this care plan and the next day we were told she was not accepted. Now some of the reasons were understandable. My main problem was how these reasons werent identified a month in advance and gave my mother and my family so much false hope. The delivery of the news was also not hearfelt and delivered quite coldly. I was embarassed for this organization and their overselling of their service without the true facts. Dr. Eubanks, Emily, and Exec Director Megan should be extremely disapointed in themselves. I would never recommend this place without doing proper due dilligence.

This facility has allowed my mother, who is in the moderate stages of Alzheimers' to stay in her own apartment. They offer services at their facility, and in home care. My Mom attends their facility M-F 9-2:30. They send an aid to assist her in the a.m., get her on their van and transport her. They provide daily stimulation, a hot meal and physical therapy, if needed in a safe, secure place .She also, now receives a p.m. aid to check on her, give her a snack and get her ready for bed. Without this service, my Mom would probably be living with me, or in a nursing home.
