I looked at Kemper House Worthington. In fact, my mom's a day friend there; they have a day program. We loved it there. The whole staff there are wonderful. They specialize in patients that have Alzheimer's and dementia. She goes there during the day. I drop her off and then I pick her up a few days a week. It's an adult day care. They also offer full-time care as well, where the residents live there. My mom lives with me, and it's nice to get her out of my house to go someplace and do activities, field trips, and everything that they offer. She loves it. She looks forward to going there. The food is great. They are firm believers of farm to table, so their food is awesome. My mom loves it. I've eaten there too. Their chef is excellent. Their dining area is very nice and very clean. You can sit with your friends and be waited on. It's very nice and comfortable. We don't live there. We are only there during the daytime, but everything has always been very clean and just impeccable. The outdoor space is awesome. They have neighborhoods set-up. They have three neighborhoods. They named them after neighborhoods here in Worthington, which I thought was really cool. In their neighborhood, the residents there can go outside when it's nice outside. If they want to do gardening or anything that they have done in the past, they can do that. You can sit out there, read a book, socialize, and do whatever. They're working specifically with people with Alzheimer's and dementia, and they can walk around freely. They are in their neighborhood, but it's like they're free to roam without going into another part of a building or getting lost. They can walk outside. They can go into another door, and that's all open to them. So it's very cool how they have all this set up. They have taken some field trips. I know they went to a Clippers game. They've gone to the candy shop at Anthony-Thomas to see how candies are made. They've taken them to the farmer's market. They also have indoor activities like bingo. They have entertainment, like people either play the piano or guitar and do the singalongs; they just love that. My mom had signed up in March of 2020 and then the pandemic hit. All that stuff was closed down, but then they re-opened and are back up in June of 2021.
